Really good little helper

Prior to buying this, many of my soldering exploits involved poor joins,, burnt fingers, and lots of swearing.Ironically, you could do with a helping hand putting this togethe - there aren't instructions, because it is pretty much instinctive, but it is a little awkward,Once assembled, this is a really good tool. The arms and clips are easily posed and hold your items firmly, making it very easy to work with them.

Brought for modeling as mine broke works ok but could do with magnifying glass

A must have for soldering, gluing and many other arts and craft purposes

I got two for stop motion and they are excellent. Heavy and well built and very good value. So, if your experimenting with stop motion and need to hold your models invest in these and you won't regret it.

Pro'sKit's Helping Hand is the best I have seen. The base is heavy and stable. The thumb screws and butterfly nuts are solid cast metal, not folded metal sheet like many I have seen. All the fittings are excellent quality and fit securely so that in use the crocodile clips stay firmly where they are put and the whole thing is stable. I put heatshrink sleeving over the teeth of the crocodile clips to prevent damage to wires when soldering. I am impressed and recommend it to anyone wanting a helping hand!
