IDEAL Industries Cable Specific RG-11 Plenum Compression Connector, Card of 10 (92-212)

This is a solid connector and a must have if you need to terminate RG11 cable. I find compression connections are easier to make than other types and once you start making your own cables that are exactly the right length with high quality terminations its hard to go back to buying pre-made cables of fixed length. My main over the air antenna run is RG11 for best reception and least interference. I used these with a compression tool from the local big box store and had no issues. You need to make sure the compression tool can handle RG11 cable though as the connectors are much longer than RG6Q and the diameter of the cable is large. I also did not have a proper stripping tool for RG11, but since I only had a handful of terminations to make I was able to make do with a really sharp blade in my utility knife. Probably not recommended or 'proper,' but with a steady hand it is easy enough.

Item is not as listed. The listing says that it is a BNC compression Connector. It is actually a Type F compression connector.

Costly connectors, but seem to work ok. have to make sure of connection before crimping on to the cable. would look for another connector.

Made of good stock. Works great with the Jonard CT200 compression tool. Great bargain compared to Radio Shack or specialty store prices.
