Good product, I've only tested a few phones on a Vortec spotting scope. Worked well!
This is great! we've tried it on two Samsungs, a good sized one and a little guy, and an iphone 9 or whatever. anyway, it take a bit of adjustment for each phone (which camera do you do use is usually the question of these 2-5 camera jobs. this device lets you center your camera perfectly! You need to then sort out the eye relief, so don't tighten on the eyepiece till you have that found.

Good once it is set up
I have watched hunting guides takes pictures with their phones through high end spotting scopes for lots of reasons. Turns out if you don't do that for a living, it's much harder than it looks. I tried it several times and struggled. So I decided to get a phone mount for my Leupold spotter. The unit is a nice sturdy aluminum construction. It has lots of adjustment and come with a decent user manual. It fit both my spotting scope and my iPhone 11. Keep in mind that this is a universal mount. It is not really drop in and take pictures. After a bunch of tweaking and positioning, I was able to get a few pictures. You can see one of a bird feeder at 20x magnification about 30 yards away through my patio door. It's not bad. The eye relief is not quite right and I don't get a full frame picture. But at least I was able to get pictures I could not get before. I think with some more adjustments I will get better results. Hopefully it won't take a lot of adjustments every time I go to use it. It was reasonably priced and well made. So I can recommend it for amateurs. A dedicated phone case like the Phone Skope might be better or at least easier to set up. But this one is flexible and works with a lot of platforms.

Item needs more attention from Quality Control before shipping to customers
I had high hopes for this Universal Digiscoping Smartphone Adapter for my spotting scope with a 2" diameter eyepiece. Unfortunately, when it arrived, the cast Aluminum part whose long slotted arm attaches to the phone clip was out of flatness from one end to the other by .030"/.040" and appeared bent. To a novice, this would not have been noticed. But using a square and visually checking the flatness, it was obviously unacceptable. Having worked in machining and manufacturing for a number of years, it was very noticeable to me when I assembled the parts and the lens of my cell phone was tilted against the eyepiece, indicating the cell phone itself was not parallel with the eyepiece because of the long arm the phone clip was attached to. It appears the central Aluminum part missed a straightening operation by quality control. Giving the seller a break, I decided to have this particular item returned for a replacement. I hope the quality control of the replacement is better than the one I'm sending back, otherwise I'm going to return it for refund. But since this item is the only one of this design that fits my spotting scope eyepiece, I'm stuck with trying a replacement item before giving up on this design. Please pay more attention to detail and quality control! Your customers deserve better.

Excellent, well-built phone-to-microscope adapter
I bought this to replace a cheap plastic one that I had and wow, what a difference! This one is very solid and sturdy. Itโs made of metal. Itโs easy to attach and stays in place well. It works much better! This one allows you to adjust the height and angle of the camera, which really helps in getting your photos framed correctly. It even includes a nice velvet bag to store it in. Iโm very happy with this purchase!

Tested by professionals and sending back
Bought to test for review in 8 outdoor magazines for basic birding, we found this item to not work on 90 percent of the binoculars and spotting scopes tested, which were Swarovski Spotting scope model with the 20x60 adjustable view, a Swarovski binoculars EL10x42, Nikon 10x50 binoculars, Swift 10x42, user not told upfront that will not work with foldable eyepiece, too shaky due to very poor attachment, does not work well with offset camera, like on the Pixel 7a we tested it with, too hard trying to use the macro and focus when you are trying to photograph any bird. Overall we found this to be an inferior product to use for digiscoping. Buyer beware

Poor
Well built out of metal but could not get my phone focused through my spotting scope and it allows too much light through between the camera lense and sight hole

Quality phone scope
This phone scope works really well. I attached to my spotting scope as soon as I received it and got the phone lined up easily. It does take some minor adjustments with the positioning screws to get it set. Once it is set it stays in place nicely. I do wish I could get the camera of the phone to line up perfectly as soon as I attach it to the phone scope but making the minor adjustments are not too tough. This is the first phone scope I have purchased and I am satisfied with it.

Love this rugged smartphone adapter. Setup and used with a SVBONY ED 20-60X80mm premium monocular (via amazon). Eyepiece outer diam has a good wide range. Spring adjustment is slightly awkward at first. Rugged aluminum construction helps prevent tilting issues between phone and eyepiece (very helpful for astro photos, my main usage, when aiming above 45 deg. Exact alignment of phone holder to eyepiece is key to good fov alignment in photos. Practice makes perfect.

It works but, you can't use a phone case with your phone in order to get good images. The black circular hole helps you linup your camera, but again the screws that are supose to prevent your phone from moving are not super effective. Overall Very finicky. But works.

Less than impressed with this - finicky to use and takes a while to get things lined up. Once it's dialed in, it works - but you wouldnt want to rely on it if you're in a hurry.

Actually allows most phones to focus and work.

Bulky/heavy, hard to use and puts stress on the eye piece.
