Excellent product. I bought this for the job as I work at the shipyard and when the sun beats down on a metal ship, things start to bake at VERY high temperatures. I dont go anywhere without this thing in my back pocket. It literally sucks the sweat off my skin whilst still being gentle and stays dry all day even when you mop up your wet face.If it can handle that, I am sure it can handle a simple workout at home.

I love my Mandela towels! They are great for heated classes. Once they are a little damp, they stay in place pretty well. Sometimes I spritz it with water before class starts. I’ve only washed this one a couple times, and it definitely bleeds color. I think that will stop after several washes. I was happy I had read reviews that said this, so I knew to wash it with really dark towels.

I washed this towel very thoroughly before use, and while it IS tie dyed dark purple, I washed it until the water was totally clear. Even with washing it stained my yoga mat in spots where the purple is darkest. I have a print on my light purple mat, so now when I use it I flip it over to the unprinted side. It still leaves more staining each time I use it. So maybe wash it twice before using, or use it with a cheapie mat you don't care about until it stops staining.That being said, I LOVE this towel. I spray it down and I don't slip at all. I practice in a very warm sunny deck room, and since it's the middle of hot and humid summer, that means lots of slipping and sliding. Once I started using this, zero sliding palms in downward dog. And the water gives my mat a slight cooling sensation which is extra nice in the heat.I also love using this with my mat in a cooler carpeted living room, without spritzing it, for restorative practices. It just makes everything feel even more soothing and comforting.

This little towel works great. My husband uses it when he works out and loves it.

It's like a shammy for people. Great absorption and grip for hands during mildly sweaty yoga classes. For vinyasa vs. hot I don't always need a full towel, but this is great for my hand placement if my palms get sweaty. Also great to place under your back (if you are wearing just a sports bra and pants) during ab work/stretching at the end of class.

I love how this towel looks and it works well during hot yoga, but it stained my Manduka Pro mat after just one hot yoga class -- even with washing it beforehand. Nothing can get the stain out. Proceed with caution if you have a nice mat.

Very pretty & feels really nice.I don't do the dripping sweat hot yoga but appreciate a great towel for exercise, mat Pilates, low key & outdoor yoga. I would take this to the beach or on boat for personal towel. It folds up to a nice, manageable size, & I really love the look of light breaks over water. Had my doubts about spending $16.00 on a simple towel. This is not a simple towel. Well made and absorbs a lot. Decent size without going overboard. Dries quickly. If you enjoy hot yoga, then this is the towel for you. I seriously cant imagine needing the thicker towel from Manduka, especially for the $$$ difference.

Súper práctica, tiene las dimensiones perfectas para no tener la típica toalla en todo el tapete.Yo la necesitaba sólo para que no se resbalaran mis manos, pues ese siempre es mi problema con los tapetes.Los colores de la tela me encantaron y cumple su función!Ya no más resbaladas.

I just started yoga a couple months ago and I found I slipped because I sweat. I have a pro mat from manduka and getting that really helped my slipping but I still did a bit so I got this. The equa towel is fantastic ! I do have to spray it down to start as it’s grip is only activated with moisture. But once I spray it I don’t move. I feel safe and it helps me keep my balance. It fits my pro mat Perfectly from side to side 26 inches wide with overhang on the end. 71 inches If you have a standard mat this towel will be bigger then your mat.You could also use the towel as a towel at the gym showers if you need a towel but don’t have lots of room in your gym bag.

Awesome little towel, works great for yoga or just in the gym. Absorbent, soft and the perfect size. Much much better than the standard towel I was using before.
