The colors are gorgeous, the texture is very pleasant to work with. I saw a lot of complaints about the variation in thickness, color, etc. I did see a definite variation in the yarn thickness, just as the seller describes and is consistent with hand-made natural fiber yarn vs machine-made synthetic yarn. It's a lovely textural dimension to work with and I didn't find it unpleasant or difficult to work with or in the finished project. The colors were bright and consistent through all the skeins I purchased, IN TWO DIFFERENT ORDERS, so these were separate dye lots for sure. I can't attest to the colorfastness as I haven't washed this yet, but I'll update the review if anything unexpected happens. Unlike prior 100% wool I've crocheted with; this doesn't smell awful or at all really, it isn't making me itch, and it's remarkably tangle resistant during the bulk between skein and project/hook. Sharp folks might notice my hook is larger than recommended, but due to eyesight and carpal, this works for me, and as you can see, the change works just fine. So soft. Easy to crochet with. It’s very small tho like a 1 weight. Needs a size 2mm hook. That was a challenge and don’t need to frog it or it rips .. but made super cute socks for my daughter and her friends. I do feel bad it’s air dry only didn’t mean to make more work for my mom friend .

I have bought and used the blue violet, orange/brown, and bright rainbow. This is not your typical 4 ply sock yarn. It has varying thickness, only one ply, and a bit of a scratchy feel. It is a bit fragile to work with due to being singles. Once washed, the scratchiness goes away, it is sizing from the spinning process. The yarn works up very well, and once knit the variations are no longer seen. Fabric made is very dense and squooshy. If they get more colorways I like I will definitely buy more. Only complaint is that if there is a machine knot, the color sequence is not maintained.

This yarn is amazing! Personally I'm not to crazy for wool myself but it's so hard to find a good quality AND well dyed rainbow yarn that's consistent. This one has blown my mind because from the one spool to the other it was COMPLETELY consistent---lined up perfectly! I've crocheted my whole life, even as a child, and I have legitimately NEVER seen a yarn that does that. Maybe I just got lucky and the two pack I happened to get both ended and started on the same colors/fade but regardless I will be buying this again! The thickness is inconsistent but the nice thing is that despite that I have no issues in my lines being straight nor uneven bulky lines/edges. I'll include close ups on the areas that go from really thick to nearly thread like so you can see :) Once again, to sound like a broken record, this is seriously AMAZING yarn and I'm completely crazy about it even though I don't like wool nor working with wool!!! The one thing I'll disagree with other reviewers on here with is that, while it is still slightly softer then other wools, it's still not soft wool like some kind have made it seem. Though, once again, I'm by no means a wool person so I dont have as much reference/experience as others who use it exclusively. 10/10 if possible! Good job to the company and employees!

The colors in this yarn are beautiful. That’s where the praise stops. The skeins are tiny and only 50 grams each. The thickness of the yarn is not consistent at all. It varies from about 1/8 inch thick down to the width of a sewing thread. It also sheds a lot, and has no durability. I fully expect the project I made from it to fall apart quickly, starting at the thinnest places, which are throughout. It wasn’t a good purchase, and it’s frustrating and upsetting that most of the items imported from China, being sold here, are not good, not even the yarn. I’m going to try another brand and see if it’s better.

I didn’t see the reviews until after I had received this- it’s very misleading to show a set of colours and a totally different colour at the end in the selling picture- I didn’t even see the different colour until I checked back later. See pic attached- i only intend to use the purples and pinks for this project so have removed that awful dark gray. I don’t know if I’d ever use it- it’s a horrible colour. Even white would have been a hell of a lot better.

the color scheme is awesome, if you like it... it is soft. it is one ply but will split a bit. if you pull, it will tear - like roving. but it is lovely to crochet. actually my 2nd buy. will probably buy again.
