My daughter needed a quality Diagnostic kit for nursing school. As a nurse myself, I know what was required. This kit arrived well packaged and no missing pieces. Hammer, tuning forks, pupil gauge light, bandage scissors and measuring tapes are of good quality. Having the pupil and eye chart is a plus for beginners. A great starter diagnostic kit for home use or school projects. For someone needing a basic kit for school or casual diagnostic use, you will be pleased.

Works well for medical school

This 7 piece set arrived for me to use for nurse practitioner school, the case is nice with a zipper and 5 of the instruments included are quality metal, the two tuning forks make good sound for hearing tests, the reflex hammer feels good when you use it/hold it in your hand. There are scissors and a pen light. Plus a small snellen eye chart. The price was really good for everything included. The biggest disappointment with the kit is the retractable tape measure. It arrived broken in two pieces, easy to fix so I did. Then when I went to try and use it the first time it popped back open the spring tangled up and the plastic was everywhere. For the other pieces of equipment in this kit to be so nice and to then cheap out on the tape measure is sad. I can use the rest for school and I still give the rest of the kit 4 stars because it’s only a small part of the product. But still now I am going to have to buy a new one because it is beyond repair.

For medical students: using a triangle head reflex hammer does not make a good impression during clerkships and rotations.
