This mattress is a dream. I got it for my elderly mother who was experiencing pressure wounds and this mattress did an amazing job assisting with her healing. I would highly recommend it from my experience with it for my mom.

My mother in law is bed ridden and had been suffering from bed sores. I bought this as a last resort coupled with constant rotation and its working out great. Shes very comfortable and the sores that she had are starting heal. I wouldnt recommend ONLY relying on this, you definitely still need to rotate the body but, it helps out tremendously.

Bought for elderly Mom with pressure sores. Easy to install, inflates in about half hour. I laid on this with Firm setting and it felt like a cloud. Adjusted to Medium for Mom as I felt it needed to be a bit softer for her delicate body.

I would say that this Lunderg Alternating Air Pressure Matress Pad with StaticMode and Flocking is doing its job in providing better circulation because my arms were falling asleep at night from the shoulders down But here is the But. I seem to be sensetive to chemical smells. I bought this one because it has the Flocking on one side that faces up which the person lies down on. the reason why I liked the flocking was it may have helped prvent the bed slip cover from sliding down by prviding some grip and friction. I have had other air matresses with flocking like this and they smell like the glue of a new pair of sneakers. now when you plug in the air pump which put air in and bleeds it off you will feel the matress rise and fill and then decompress as it lets air out. Here is the trouble with the air being released into your bedroom. IT SMELLS! so you have 2 smells. one right under your nose due to the glue or adhesive that holds the faux coating on and the constant timed air released from the electro mechanical box that does it job as it should but the it puts out a PVC smell. SO BE AWARE OF THE SMELLS. IF you are sensetive like I am you may be considering returning it. I am hoping it will "off gas" I have a LEVOIT AIR PURIFIR WITH A FILTER THAT IS SUPPOSED TO FILTER OUT VOC'S AND IT STILL SMELLS... SO THE BEST i CAN DO IS WAIT AND HOPE. The smell has subsided a little but I do have a headache. I am not sure if that is related to the smell or if It is due to some other factor. IF I was to give anyone advice at least on cutting down any smells or fumes it would be Don't get the one with the flocking and to try and see how putting enough air into this device and then switching it to static mode and leaving it on Soft. this may provide enough softness for your body to naturally circulate with subtle movements that you make like when you breath.. but I am not a professional so this is just what I am trying for a specific problem like the arm circulation with numbness issue or a shoulder injury.

Well, just about a week of sleeping on it the Stage 2 bed sore is completely healed and gone. At first there were minimal complaints about the bumps but after a few days they stopped and she has been sleeping on it now for a month. I would recommend this product for anyone who has no other remedy to eliminate bed sores.

Great quality product, but critical information missing – buyers beware! Both the pump and the bed are of great quality—no complaints about the build or performance. However, the listing failed to mention a critical detail: the pump runs on 110V 60Hz, which is incompatible with the power supply in the UAE and India. Because this information was not disclosed, I plugged it in and the pump burned out within minutes. Unfortunately, this was only discovered after reading the fine print on the back of the pump after it was already damaged. While I accept some responsibility, this kind of oversight from the seller is unacceptable. If you are purchasing this for use in the UAE or India, you must buy a voltage converter separately. This is a serious miss, and in my opinion, products like this should not be sold in these regions without proper warnings. Great product—but the listing needs to be transparent to avoid costly mistakes.
