For Gen 4 and 5
To me this completes the Glock. The Pearce snaps in place (friction fit on the sub-compact model) and still allow the use of the additional backstraps. Can be easily removed if ever needed.

Nice look/fit G42
If your going to buy one of these get a Pearce brand one.. I have these on my G42 and G30s and they both look great! They fit great and looks factory definitely recommended.

These slug plugs work perfectly!
If you hear the term slug plug on a firearm it’s that area behind the magazine that may be an open void. It can be left open but I prefer to plug it to keep dust and stuff out of the gun. Once installed it can be removed to clean the channel but not much accumulates in there once plugged. This fits, stays put, and never had an issue with Pearce brand stuff.

Loose fit
Fits kind of loosely in a 17-Gen3, you can push and pull on it vertically and it'll move about 1/8" due to the retaining nub being undersized and doesn't fit perfectly in the hole at the bottom of the grip. If the nub was bigger in diameter, it would fit perfectly. Other than the loose fit, if its pushed up all the way in, it blends nicely with the grip and flare. I'm gonna order a different one with a squared off, cylindrical nub instead of a rounded one like this one and see if those fit better.

It works
It works like it should. Installed easy. Fit good. To install remove back strap on gen 4 and 5. Then push in the hole in the grip. Looks good. And should keep dirt out. If you have to use or want to use a gun lanyard you will have to remove it.

Excellent!!!
First, use a Q-tip to thoroughly clean out the well before you plug it. Then, simply press it into place. It has a snug fit and looks great. The well has always bothered me as it tend to collect lint. Not anymore.

Good product but pricey
If you want one I recommend this company. But everything is expensive today. It stays in place and I think it works. I’ve had them on duty guns and EDC guns. I’ve seem plenty of dust/ lint etc. everywhere but where the plug goes.

Perfect
Put this on a Glock 17 gen 4 bb gun and threw the backstraps on. Went in in seconds. Perfect fit. Thank You for a great product.

Good Buy
Inexpensive grip plug that does the job well. Doesn't really look as much like the picture as the bottom of the plug is a little more recessed appearing whereas the listed picture looks more bulky/full appearing, but not a big deal.

Does what it's supposed to.
Clipped into my Gen 4 G17 in a hot second. I'm pretty sure gap that exists in the stock pistol is a result of the manufacturing process rather than a design feature, and I'm not going to get into a debate as to why you should or shouldn't use a grip plug.Want to install a grip plug? Buy this one.Don't want to install a grip plug? Carry on.
