Swallow one capsule with water before a meal. Do not crush or chew the capsule. For best results, take one capsule daily for at least 14 days. **Q: Why are people buying these for long term use? Far cheaper to pay for a 3 month supply with a GP prescription**
A: GPs will only prescribe this long term if you are diagnosed with chronic GERD.  As esomeprazole almost completely stops your stomach acid production, this will have some pretty negative gastrointestinal side-effects if you just ignorantly pop them like antacids long-term.  If you do not have GERD, these are only meant to be used to facilitate healing when there is physical damage that mustn't be exposed to more acid, such as an ulcer or oesophageal erosion.

**Q: Are these the same as omeprazole**
A: Hi, no these contain Esomeprazole which does the same as omeprazole.  My daughter has a long term medical condition which requrires this particular medication and she was changed, by her doc from omeprazole to esomeprazole which does exactly the same as omeprazole.  They worked well for me but be sure and only take the recommended dose.  Cheers.

**Q: I still havent got nexium tablets. and on my email it says delivered yesterday. we have 24 hour porters. So never problem with delivery. Tell me why ?**
A: I would always suggest contacting Amazon customer support rather than community support for issues like this.

**Q: Whats the difference between the capsules and the tablets**
A: The tablets would make me feel sick the morning after I'd taken them. No such side effects from the capsules thankfully
