I didn't realize how big the largest bags of this set were. I purchased 3 sets of bags. They're very well constructed.The zipper is metal with plastic coated teeth and a plastic zipper pull. There is an elastic to the vet the zipper pull in the washer.The smallest 3 (yellow, pink, and green) are honestly the most practical for weekly washables. The largest I can see being useful for large delicate items, like crochet and knit blankets, sweaters, etc. And probably for packing and storage. The two blue zippered bags are actually the same size, which you can't tell from the product picture.I will update my review after a period of use. But my initial impressions are good!

I got these to use at home and for a home daycare.. the description didn't mention anything about using these bags for washing but that is what I bought them for.. at home I've used them to separate my delicates in a normal wash cycle and they have worked perfectly.. at the daycare I use them to wash and sanitize Legos and play plastic food.. I can dump all the toys in one large bag and dunk it in hot soapy water and bleach.. the toys rinse well also in the bag - the mesh allows water to flow thru

My initial reaction is that I am totally impressed with this set of laundry bags. They are well made. The zippers are of high quality, easy to operate, and color coordinated to the size. The mesh is a little tight from my point of view, but it's still high grade.It's a very useful range of sizes. To quote Mike Meyers from his Saturday Night Live skits as the store owner of All Things Scottish, "We've got wee, not-so-wee, and freakin' huge!"UPDATE: almost 2 years later, I’m still 5-star happy with these laundry bags. Very glad I bought them.

These are wonderful. The variety of sizes works well for me, and I have used these a number of times now for washing all sorts of lingerie. I am pleased with how clean clothes get in these bags, and delighted to no longer have bras getting tied into knots in the washer!These seem to be durable. They are easy to use. The zippers are well made and do not “catch” on other clothes.5 stars, all around!

This has taken one of my greatest chores out of the laundry process: finding the black compression socks that don't go in the dryer lurking in the load of black slacks, t-shirts, and other items. I put the socks in one of the mesh bags before they go in the washer. They wash just the same, but I just have to find the white bag and pull it out. Everything else goes in the dryer, and the socks are easily located for hand-washing! The bags are sturdy, easy to open and close, and a quick air-dry (next to the socks, of course!) has them ready to go next time.

I travel a bit and these bags are AMAZING! I take them along for extra laundry bags so my clothes get a bit of airing out without getting mixed in with my other stuff.I also use them for laundering more delicate clothing items.Hint: put your socks in one of these bad boys and never lose a sock again!!!

The zipper pulls are rounded so they are not likely to catch on most laundered items. I was worried about that. The mesh seems dense in the pictures, but everything in the bag washed sparkling clean. Some items were still a touch damp after drying, but that was a good thing. I meant to pull the bag out before the dry cycle ended for fear of shrinkage.

Love that the zipper pulls go into a slot to keep them shut in the washer. That was a problem with my older bags - half the time the bags unzipped in the wash and what was in them was not longer protected. But this extra measure is perfect. And the soft zippers are nice too.
