The WPL D12 is an awesome truck that can be used for many different things. They sell this truck at an amazing price at almost 30 bucks cheaper than others on Amazon. When you receive the truck it comes in original WPL packaging and comes with everything needed to use it immediately. The controller is a basic cheap controller but has a nice matte finish and has buttons to adjust the speed between slow and fast. It also has a button the adjust the steering servo so it limits the turning radius or makes it turn really sharp. It has your typical L-R steering trim adjustment on the controller. It comes with headlights but has the ability to be upgraded to add side cab markers and tail lights, the board has spots already soldered for extra accessories. The stock motor is pretty quick considering what it is and paired with the sharp steering makes it a nice drift truck. You can upgrade the gearbox to metal and add a 370 motor which makes the thing really fast. Every part is upgradable right down to the frame and if you have a 3d printer the possibilities are endless. I have 3 models 1 of which is the mini 1/16 version another is turned into a tow truck/recovery truck for my crawlers that I upgraded to 4 wheel drive and the last is a drift truck that you see in the pictures except now it is finished and those pics are from the second day I got it. If you want to drift without doing any major mods to it just put a few layers of electrical tape around the back wheels but make to wind it the right way so it does no try to unwind itself. I suggest buying 2 of them so you can race with your buddies or your kids. Have fun!!

I got this in the mistaken belief it had 4 wheel drive (it doesn't), but it is fun to drift, even in a small area. Highly recommend.

Was a great little RC car for about a hour. A piece broke and my son can't drive it now. Only gave it a 1 star because you have to put something.

This is the 1/10 scale truck and it works great , if you get the 5mm to 7mm hex adaptors you can put different wheels on it , it drives nicely and will drift

Good quality but would invest in a gyro for stability and correction but I only got one battery with my order.

Ordered 2 of these since the first one came with a different pin adapter on the battery than what was in the RC van. I tried to research the maker so I could possibly get the correct replacement without having to replace my entire unit, but the website provided was unable to connect me, so I had to opt for a replacement from Amazon and hope they got it right and that this was a one off failure and the new new one will definitely be right this time.... Sadly no. The replacement is cursed with the same problem..the charger and battery have an entirely different pin configuration than the one protruding from the unit itself. Nothing fits. Wanted this to work so bad. Shame it all has to go back..

Fast shipping and the item was well packed. I appreciate the extra battery. There are many videos on the Internet about all the customization you can do - that's one great thing with this rc. I haven't installed gyro but have bought separately drift wheels, and drifting this van has been fun. The hard body is a plus and it had survived my toddler's play. The remote controller trigger did break within a week, but I managed to repair it. Overall a good buy.

Originally, I wasn't expecting much when purchasing this product. However, it turned out to be great and very entertaining. First of all, it was ready to run, with both batteries fully charged. Also, it came with customizatio options, including a sticker sheet and other things. This was good because you can make it to your liking. Importantly, the controls were awsome, with proportional steering and speed. The great is that you alternate from high speed to low speed, and regular steering to tight steering. My son likes this car very much, and addedhis own little touches.

Absolutely fantastic little van, almost unbreakable... grandchild just loves it

This is the biggest piece of s$&* I have ever purchased. It came broke. We tried to fix it and it continued to crumble in our hands. It was beyond repair. Even if it wasn’t broken it would take 1 round of driving it and it would fall apart. DO NOT BUY. There is going to be 1 very very very sad little boy wale up Christmas to not find the one and only thing he asked for for Christmas. Sincerely one defeated mother!

Super fun - bought a pair, and they race / drift quite well. Pretty easy to snap pieces back together after collisions.
