These things are HELLLLLA EXPENSIVE.... omg.... you can get digital fancy pants timers like this from ali-express/wish/temu and other chinese retailers, for 7.99... BUT those all need advanced programing degrees to opperate.. X_X seriously, this unit is easy no-brainer. I can 'not touch it' for 4 years, then decide to plug it in some where else, and i don't even need to read a manual to adjust and program this thing! just push the dial in to start editing, roll the dial to the hours i want it ON for. then do the same to the Other dial, to adjust the DAYS i want it OFF for! THIS IS PERFECT FOR MAINTAINING LITHIUM-ION and NMH BATTERIES! Once charged, these batteries should only receive a charge again about once a month or 2. Or if you want a more regular charge cycle because you change out LOTS of batteries regularly, well you can set it for 24h ON, 6 days OFF. and you can change your schedule for it, in like 8 seconds! without reading a stupid manual, or barely even reading the dials! its just EASY to understand out of the blue. come back to it 10 years later? no problem! its self explainitory!! not like these LCD things that are 8bucks and require a degree in electrical engineering to even read the manual for! X_X; I bought 3 of these. One for the car battery bank i keep in the garage, with all its chargers on it that keeps lead acid batteries topped off through the cold winters (12h-on/5d-off). one for my SHELF FULL of lithium ion and NMH based batteries that need to only be freshened up every 2 months (24-on/60d-off), and finally one for my regular every day use batteries (12-on,1d-off) the latter gives 36 hours off, and 12 hours on. which is about my use-level. its currently May of 2024, Electric bill prices will be higher then in recorded history. These things are going to keep all those trickel-energy-hungry transformers for all those chargers, in check, so my electric bills are lower. every stupid power brick you plug in pulls power ALL THE TIME even when you are NOT charging things! Unplug them all when not in use?? that's a chore.. this product does that chore for you. Attach a surge protector to it, so a bunch of sockets are all turning on and off when it does. Cool beans!

I am impressed. I had bought this for my aunt to charge her scooter then she sold it so I am now using it to run two chargers for batteries. Easy to set up, and works perfectly. Batteries no longer are getting constantly baked by the chargers.

This timer is wonderful. I use it for my Mobility Scooter. It is not good to leave the scooter on charge all the time. Batteries go bad. Now, I use this timer! I put charge time for a 14 hour charge, every 20 days. This works well when not in use. You can start a 14 hour charge, anytime you want to, if needed.

Absolutly perfect and deos exactly what you want it to do. I have a plug strip plugged into this and all my power tools, and rechargeable connected to the power strip. i have mine set to mine batteries need. it turns on every 30 days and stays on for 24hrs then kills power, and then just repeats! I bought a second one for inside for the retro handheld gaming systems and drone batteries

Puchased this to prevent potential battery overcharge of many devices that have poor chargers. While a great idea for a product, product execution could be better, and resulting usefulness may be limited (not the product's fault). First, the unit plugs directly into the wall (this is usually a bad product design decision to save $$). When used on a quad outlet (4 sockets), its so wide is blocks the adjacent socket, making that socket unusable. See pic. In these cases, consider a "cheater" cord - a flexible cord between it and the wall socket. They should include one as they can purchase these at bulk prices - I cannot. Second: While not the products fault - about one out of every three of my chargers were ineffective when using this device. This is because when the power is cut to poorly designed chargers, the charger itself will discharge the battery sitting in it. Thus, while the battery was fully charged when this unit when on, the battery's charger sucked all the power out of the battery when the device turned the power off. This left me with many dead batteries (when I needed it during an off cycle). Make sure you test your charger before buying this. How? Fully charge your battery using just the wall socket - then pull the plug and let the battery sit in the unpowered charger for a few days (maybe a a week). You will often find that when you use the battery, its either dead or diminished. In that case, this product will not help you. Be aware that your battery may be "self-discharging" internally if it is old. Test this by taking the charged battery out of its charger and letting it sit for a while, then testing it.
