A Docking Device
a Docking device like this is very handy and convenient, specially because current laptops do not have enough USB, HDMI and Ethernet connectors.

Adds 5 USB's to a windows laptop, and an ethernet port. This little device allows me to plug so many other things into my computer at the same time, the hdmi only copies my computer screen, that may be an error on my part.

Good, helpful, but loses connection after some time
Now that laptops come mostly with a couple of USB-C connections, this has been a life saver for connecting my second monitor at home, wireless mouse and keyboard, charge for lap top and more. The problem is that I have had it for less than a year and ever since a couple of months ago I will lose the connection once in a while. For the price it's not terrible but I do wish it lasted a little longer. From reading other reviews, this seems to have happen to other people as well. UPDATE 6/23/25: I am adding an additional star for costumer service. I was reached by the company whom stated that it was not normal for the product to not work correctly within this short time frame and productively offered to send a replacement. So far so good. I hope the connection lasts longer this time but can't go wrong with the price AND the costumer service. Thank you!

If your laptop needs more ports, get this.
Ordered the NOVOO USB C Hub Ethernet, 7 in 1 Multiport USB C to HDMI Adapter. Used it with great success on a Lenovo laptop, iPad Air and a Motorola Phone. All ports worked as well as charging through the USB C port and also the internet connection was at same speed as WIFI through the ethernet. The price is not that bad and the build is all metal.

Noticeable change in usb performance, or defective.
Displays video, charges device, but USB devices when connected to this are very intermittent. Tried several different USB devices, different USB slots, and even different computers, but wireless keyboards and mice will just act very intermittently when connected to this, which defeats the entire purpose of this device. Potentially mine is defective, but I am not too satisfied. Update, tried using this was several different devices, on all of them, I got a wet charging port warning. The adapter was completely dry, but after the fact, these devices now charge much slower than they used to. I suspect this could have damaged my electronics.

Works as advertised. Amazingly. Especially with 2025+ Samsung phones. Requires 2+ Amps.
Works amazing. I can charge my phone, hook up my 55" Elo Touch Screen TV. My BOSE USB Companion 5 speakers & Play all my touch screen phone games with this. You will need a minimum USB power brick be a 2+ Amp USB-C charger. You got to power them USB cords.
