Easy , quick root touch up, only washes away with shampoo. You apply and go , it doesn't transfer to clothes. Stays in place on your hair. Very easy to use and you can keep in your purse.

This root touch up is such a handy product to have on hand for in between salon visits. The stick format makes it easy to apply exactly where you need it especially on the hairline and it leaves no mess. The black and brown shade blends in naturally with my hair color there’s no difference it doesn’t look obvious. I love this formula it fires up quickly and makes no mess. It also washes out easily with shampoo so it’s great for temporary coverage. The only thing to note is it works best for touch up areas it’s not meant to cover up large sections. But for quick fixes it’s natural looking and easy to carry in your bag for emergencies.

I'm very happy with this product. Not very expensive, has been lasting me a long time, and very effective at covering my gray roots and darkening my scalp where hair is thinning.

Average product. I have a few grey hairs and used it to cover them. Have to run over hairs several times for effect.

I love this pen to cover all of my gray roots. I have super dark hair so the gray shows so easily/quickly. This helps last a little longer between colorings and is super quick and easy to apply. I like it better than powder because it doesn't take as long. I like it better than spray because it's so much easier to control the application. I will say the color does transfer, but that's going to happen with any temporary cover-up.

I love it. I only have Grey hair at my temples and I am not ready to dye all of my hair. I have not had any issues with smearing.

It works fine but I notice a couple things 1) if you touch your hair, the substance will come off onto your fingers and 2) It won’t stay on your hair long. I don’t think I touch my hair too much, but I notice that the area I touch up with the marker comes off pretty easily so I have to reapply often.

Bought this after seeing it recommended in a magazine. I found it useless - like trying to colour your hair with a crayon. I saw a recommendation to use this to cover up a shiny scalp if you have thin hair, but there’s no way you could apply this consistently to the scalp, it would just give odd patches.

I have alot of grey. I hate the root sprays, they r messy and heavy. This root stick doesn't muck the hair. Easily blends in. Doesn't make hair greasy or tacky.
