One skein will make a rectangle 15" x 24" of the pattern I took a picture of. It's a regular "V" stitch, and I used an 'E' size crochet hook. I think if I wanted to make a full sized blanket, I'd need 6-8 skeins. I think this is more for smaller things though. But my kitties just got a new blanket to lay on. The texture is soft, but it's a little more cord-like than fuzzy yarn-like. I do like this, and it's $6 per skein, which isn't bad.
