Found tablet hard to swallow. Best to order the next size down if you don't like big tablets. Calcium 400mg & Magnesium 200mg are a lot more easier to swallow.

The surface of the tablet is very powdery and the tablet is big itself. I had to half it, but I still couldn’t swallow, as it sticks to my throat and I’m afraid I gonna choke on it. So I have stopped taking after a week’s attempts.

I am an amazon vine reviewer. I am reviewing the Calcium (800mg) and Magnesium (400mg)tablets made by SimplySupplements.There are 120 white tablets in the white plastic pot. The batch number (30013) and expiry date (02/2025) are printed on the base of the pot.The tablets arrived with the lid enclosed in a cellophane type protective cover. When this is removed, there is a protective "sealed for your protection" tear off lid showing that the tablets have not been tampered with.The recommended daily dose "serving size" is clearly indicated on the the side of the pot. Namely, to take 2 tablets each day. So, you are taking 800mg of calcium and 400mg of magnesium each day. The 2 tablets result in 100% NRV of calcium and 106.6% of magnesium. (NRV is the Nutrient Reference Value). At this rate the 120 tablets will lat 60 days-or about 2 months.A single table is quite big at 23mm long and about 7mm wide. I took mine with my morning mug of tea and cereal to help swallow them. An online search indicates that we need to replace some calcium each day for bone health. Hence the reason why the tablets are so big. Magnesium helps in many enzyme reactions and regulating blood pressure amongst other things.I have been taking the tablets for the last few days. I have not noticed any adverse effects.The SimplySupplements pots is clearly labelled in that it advises me on the dosage rate (2 tablets per day); that the calcium and magnesium dosage equals or exceeds the NRV. If the tablets were, say, half the size say, to make swallowing easier, then I would have to take 4 tablets a day. I have had no side effects from taking the tablets and therefore assume that they are doing me good - this last comment is subjective.Based on my comments above I rate the SimplySupplements calcium and magnesium tablets at 4 stars -only because of my last comment.
