For a cheap straightforward hang and hold design, these work very well. They're bendable enough to hold a variety of firearms but firm enough to keep them from bouncing around. Just finesse them around your seat, lay gun across, bend back snug, and good to drive. I drove two hours over a variety of roads, including gravel and bumpy backroads, with a scoped rifle in them. It was dead on when I got there and tested.

I don't know if I bought something different than some of the people who wrote reviews, but there's no way I'd trust them to support a gun! Hung a bag from the store that weighed maybe 3lbs and drove home. The bag ended up on the floor. Great idea, but just too flimsy

You get what you pay for- This will work ok to hold some things (bags, accessories, etc.) but not an actual firearm. Too flimsy to trust with a rifle. Will keep it, for $7 it will get used for something else.
