Worked as expected.

Perfect Fit... I received this replacement unit in less than 2-days, installed it it under 10-minutes, allowed it to charge for a full day, and successfully tested it.I needed this battery for an ACER Chromebook and I'm most impressed with the initial battery life it provided upon initial test. We used the machine for almost 3 hours and still had 60% left. This seems pretty on par with original OEM battery time we used to get.

I put this in my Acer A517-53 laptop. This is a knockoff battery, not OEM, and it doesn't seem to last as long as the original on a charge--roughly 5 hours according to the Windows battery icon, though I haven't timed it myself. Good enough for my purposes as I'm mostly plugged in during use. Note that they don't recommend leaving it always plugged in as it can shorten the life of the battery--however, I have optimized charging enabled through the AcerSense app to counteract some of that by limiting the charging to 80%.UPDATE 2/5/26: I'm updating this review, less than a month later, because the battery has failed. When I turn on my laptop, it stays on for about a minute before shutting off. This happens even on the BIOS screen, so I know it's not an OS issue. It does not happen if I remove the battery and run the laptop on AC power, further proving that it's the battery. I tried removing the battery and holding down the power button for 20 seconds to reset things, but it didn't help. Granted, my laptop model number above is not listed in the product description. However, the battery model number matches my OEM battery exactly (AP20CBL, same connector and dimensions too), so I expected it to work.

After installing this, I can confirm it works well in an Acer Chromebook. I recommend you open the unit with the bad battery and verify the battery model number actually installed before purchasing to avoid the hassle of returning it and buying the right one. Many laptops vary the OEM batteries installed and the numbers in the replacement battery listings aren't always right.

Seems to be working perfectly. Charged up quickly. Too soon to rate quality, depends on how long the battery lasts.

Installed and charged the battery but my Acer Spin 713 would not load Chrome OS. Tried reset and power button for 10 seconds and nothing. Googled for answer one solution was to disconnect battery and try starting with power cord attached. Chrome OS loaded and while Chrome was operational I reattached the battery and it is working fine. I had previously ordered this battery and because it wouldn't load Chrome I returned the battery and put the original 70% battery back in.This time after I loaded and charged I continued to look for a solutiion, luckily I stuck with it and now have 100% battery in.

Delivered quickly as promised. Fit and finish of battery matches that of the OEM battery. Charges and holds charge, hoping it will last and hold up.

Item was in excellent condition but I had to return it since it did not fit as replacement for my ACER 315 model.
