Eco Paint & Sealer Stripper is biodegradable, non-flammable, VOC compliant in all 50 states and an environmentally friendly coating remover. The product does not contain any methylene chloride, caustics or toxic chemicals. It does not contain any carcinogens or deplete the ozone like some competitive products. Eco Paint & Sealer Stripper is highly effective in removing the most durable industrial coatings. It can be used to remove tough acrylics, epoxies, urethanes, polyureas, varnish, latex paints, lead based paints, alkyd paints and oil-based enamels on all types of substrates including concrete, masonry, brick, wood, steel, aluminum and metal alloys. Eco Paint & Sealer Stripper is not harmful like methylene chloride based strippers, it is not sticky or messy like soy based strippers and offers cost savings over labor intensive mechanical stripping methods. Eco Paint & Sealer Stripper is a ready to use product which must be mixed with a drill mixer until it is a creamy consistency (approx one min/gal). It can be applied with a roller, brush or airless sprayer at 50-90°F. The product should be applied at twice the thickness of the coating that is being removed. It must not dry out during the stripping process so it is recommended that it is covered with a plastic sheet. The coating is normally stripped in 2 to 4 hours but it can be significantly longer (up to 36 hours) for coatings with multiple layers. After stripping the coating can be removed using a scraper, squeegee, shop-vac or a >3000 psi pressure washer. Coverage rate will vary depending on the substrate and coating thickness but 50 to 100 sf/gal is typical.
