PEXMOR Electric Bike Conversion Kit, 48V 1200W 26" Front/Rear Wheel E-Bike Conversion Kit with 3 Mode Controller, PAS, LCD Display, Twist Throttle

Finally got around to getting my bike converted to electric. Kit installed fine however the "j" of the spokes (where spoke meets the hub) from the beginning didn't look right... Not flush. But they were all carrying the same amount of tension, so I gave it the benefit of the doubt. However a few decent length trips (20+miles round trip) a spoke broke off at at the hub... Couldn't figure out what the slight "tink tink" sound that was coming from the bike... Another trip around town and I felt the rear kind of wash a little bit around a corner, pulled over to check things out and 4 more spokes are broken... All at the same spot... Super frustrating.. hopefully the seller will make things right. Keep in mind I weigh 160lbs. The bike is a high end specialized sworks enduro. And the install was professionally done. Update! Contacted company and they went out of their way to handle my issue in the most professional manner. They were fast and efficient in finding a resolution that far exceeded my expectations. I am going to be doing business again with them soon. And i absolutely recommend them for all of your ebike conversion kit needs!

I don't usually review but I'm in the ebike culture and hope this helps someone else. I read through all the recent comments before my purchase and one in particular stuck out. The reviewer stated the inequity of the spokes and how his hub was ruined because of. after much debate and about 50+ riding miles, some spokes were very loose. If you buy this kit also purchase a assortment of spoke wrenches and check for tightness. I had one that wasn't even hand tight but I caught it in time so all is well. I run this with a DIY 13s 48v battery and am able to reach over 30 mph on a 26 inch mountain bike!!!

This kit couldn't be easier to install. I have bought 2 kits . everything about it makes a fun worry free ride.

Does not work and cannot get support from manufacturer! Only way to contact is by email; three sent – no reply! In my opinion, the controller is not working as I cannot get the display to work or the motor to turn. If I hold the power button on, and operate the throttle, the motor will run… I would return this item except for the huge amount of work required to disassemble The E bike, remove the tire, ship it back, etc. Instead, I am ordering another controller with its own PAS and display. DO not buy.!!!!!!

The motor and controller that come with this kit are pretty amazing for the price. I was able to fit this motor to a 26" GT Stomper mountain bike with the frame bag and a 48v 15ah battery. With this set up I can easily get 35-40 miles without pedaling at all. The acceleration leaves a little to be desired, but that's just me. The top speed is great on a fully charged battery; I was able to get 33mph on my bike. This is an awesome kit. If you wanted to go cheap, you could get this and a 10ah battery for just shy of 450$ and throw it on a cheap bicycle and limit it to 750w (I would not recommend 1200w without disc brakes) Overall, this kit is a solid preformer. In the past two days I've been riding, I've put over 125 miles on the bike.

After 3 months and 400 Miles: Pro No issues with noise from hub or spokes Controller is good enough - would be nice if on screen guide would detail what settings are being changed instead of just showing a code. Powerful compared to similar hubs I have installed Con Built for hobbyist not average folks Should include a PAS that does not require a crank puller Harness to motor interface is poor - like most. This needs a connector so the rider can remove the rear wheel to change the tire. The current design requires the user to loosen up a harness to controller wires to allow and move over the rear wheel depending on how you routed this harness it can be quite a task. Again this is something that is seen all cheaper designs.

This product is better than what it states. On the first test run, it far exceeded the speed and had no problem going up hill. Highly recommended this product. Easy to install.
