The ‘standard issue’ beret needs to be broken in over a period of several months, as any military recruit will confirm! The officers’ version is usually of softer material, and thus more amenable. It may be helpful to ‘distress’ the material (as done for jeans) by rough handling and/or repeated washing, but beware of shrinkage and damage to the headband.

I suggest if they want to sell, would make sense to provide minimum applicable delivery charge based on size and weigh as per royal mail for example. If they do that I can buy more.
