20 to Stitch: Mini Cross Stitch (Twenty to Make)

This Mini Cross Stitch Book is brilliant, I can use the patterns to make Christmas Gift Tags for my family or Christmas Tree Ornaments. The patterns are clear and easy to follow and 20 of them gives you a lot to choose from. The book is good quality and bound well, it also joins my growing library of Embroidery and Cross Stitch Books. I'm very pleased with my purchase. Thank you

Lovely designs and would make great cards

An attractive and useful little book with designs in Michael Powell's recognisable and distinctive style. The projects really are mini, but there are suggestions about how they might be used to increase their versatility.Buildings feature, of course, with a Mediterranean feel, but there are also some floral designs, some unexpected ideas and the ubiquitous cupcake! The book would suit an absolute beginner, as there are clear instructions and embroidery thread numbers listed for each project, but the more experienced cross-stitcher should be able to adapt the designs for different colourways. It is a useful addition to this series and very good value, comparing favourably to the cost of a magazine. Recommended for those who welcome something a little bit different in the cross-stitching world..

New to cross stitch ..so thought I'd start small ..Brilliant little book ..thank you

M Powell designs are always a big hit with me. I've purchased this book as a Christmas gift with the intension of borrowing it to do one or two projects in there that I liked too. I love M Powell art work and his cross stitch designs and his kits are always well set out and easy to follow and create. You can truly feel proud when your projects are completed as they look fun and quirky, bright and cheery. This book lays the charts out in colour in a nice size to read and follow. Well done M Powell. Look forward to more like this from you.

This is a fabulous little book with a range of patterns from simple to complex, small to reasonable size. Considering how expensive Michael's kits are, I'm amazed at the low price of this book and think it is excellent value for money. It will give me many enjoyable hours of stitching and I will recommend it to all my friends and relatives who stitch.

A great book with some nice patterns

As an avid cross stitcher of mature years I struggled with Michael Powell's work at first. Where were the straight lines? The more I did the more I grew to love them. They are quirky, fun to sew and the colours are exciting. I am a convert to his style. His original art work, mostly in pen and ink, is beautifully drawn. The projects are simple and not demanding of your time. Go on, have a go. If I can be converted you will too.

Michael Powell氏のデザインは、国内では手に入りにくく、amazonで予約ができたので購入しました。 乗っているデザインは小さなものが多く、ちょっとした手間に作れます。 サシェや針山にしました♪ デザインは 14ct Aida, Anchor で作られています。 普段DMCを使っているので糸を合わせるのがちょっと手間でしたが 自分で色を決めるのも楽しいです。

Schöne kleine Stickbilder die Aquarelltechnik nachahmen. Ich hatte die Bilder des Autors schon im Internet gesehen und habe mich riesig gefreut ein Booklet mit einer Auswahl davon zu finden. Einen weiteren Band mit Weihnachtsmotiven in dieser Art gibt es ebenfalls. Ich mag die Bilder und werde nicht nur eins davon nachsticken.

Es un libro maravilloso, me gustan todos los diseños, tengo mis preferidos pero todos son muy bonitos, el grado de dificultad es similar, pero como en todo, hay alguno que pueda ser más sencillo que otro. Está en ingles, pero con un poco de maña, no es nada que no se pueda entender y que un diccionario no pueda arreglar. Gracias por leer ☺️
