One Charger Instead of Three — Huge Win for Older ThinkPads
These adapters are perfect if you’re still running an older Lenovo that doesn’t have USB-C charging built in. I use them with a high-power GaN USB-C charger, and it lets me charge my ThinkPad without carrying the original bulky Lenovo brick. Power delivery has been solid so far, and the connection feels secure. It’s really nice being able to use one 200W charger for multiple devices instead of juggling different chargers and cables. This alone has cleaned up my bag and desk setup quite a bit. If you have a ThinkPad with the slim tip connector and want to modernize your charging setup, this is a simple, practical solution that actually works.

Great little device
I have a few of these things (for different laptops or devices), and they all work very well. I like the right-angle design (keeps it from sticking out too much from the side of the laptop and the charge light on it for a quick indication of the charge state.

It's okay
Works to charge the laptop I have but if it's dead I can't use it while it's charging, assuming because it doesn't have the power output needed but it works if you don't have the specific charger and only have a USB-C

Simplifying my travel kit
This is part of my process to optimize my travel cable box. Now I just carry a USB C PD supply, USB C cables and a variety of adapter. This requires a sufficient PD port and so far has worked perfectly for a company laptop that I occasionally travel with. BT recommends

Clever but may not have enough power from the USB side
Clever, but not a 100% solution to me. The problem is that USB-C Power Delivery maxxes out at 100w currently (that's a standard). The Lenovo models use 145w. For casual use, you may not notice and appreciate the weight savings as a road warrior. So it's clever and it saves space, but it's not charging at full power. Not the manufacturer's fault, but just making you aware if you're a power user.

This thing is perfect! My Original Charger for my X1 carbon kicked the bucket. Sure I have a spare but now with all the newer laptops being usb C this great way to be able to use any charger no longer stuck to Lenovo plug.

It works great ... just make sure you have a USB C charger that outputs at least 45w at 20v 3amps otherwise will NOT work ... this is the one im using on my Lenovo m75q-1 Gen 1 -> https://a.co/d/h2u5qjQ
