I bought two of these to control recently installed towel rails. The upstairs bathroom towel rail control is in the landing behind a big heavy bookcase, and the down stairs loo has been wired into the boiler cupboard. Both controls being generally inaccessible without moving furniture. These Wifi spurs do the trick brilliantly, easy to set up once the Tuyu app is installed, in my case to my ipad, but also works on smart phones. The added bonus is that they can be voice controlled via Amazon Alexa. Very impressive!

Easy to install as most of the switch is above the wall box giving lots of room for wiring to bend in. Easy to setup the Tuya smart app is great. I have two of these one on my immersion heater and one on a storage heater (less than 3k) they work well and give you a record of electricity used. With remote access you can turn something on to heat before your return from holiday. A negative is that some wall boxes don’t necessarily work with the shape of the rear of the box so offer it up first before committing to wiring. All in all it seems a nice little unit and worth the money. The maximum power rating is for resistive loads. As the main switch is a good old fashioned relay (goes with a reassuring click) I’m sure inductive or capacitive loads will reduce the life of the contacts.

Fantastic product!!! I was looking for a Switch which could be controlled remotely via App and this product is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Easy to install (I am not an electrician but I just followed the schematic provided and by following the instruction I installed the Tuya app and that's it. You can create your own schedule and control remotely via App/Alexa/Google Home. Couldn't be happier!

It’s a worthwhile purchase of like us you want your towel rail to heat the bathroom up for wake up time. The set up was easy enough and now we have a timer in place for the colder months. Saves us the risk of forgetting to switch it off. My real issue is the LEDs on this thing. They make the room so bright when you’re trying to sleep. Sadly no settings in the app to disable them so I’ll have to order some covers. Still a worthwhile product but would be 5 star if not for the LEDs being permanently on.

Purchased to auto manage outside lighting, the installation was straight forward and the connection to my network via the Smart Life app was ridiculously easy. The lights were set up as a Smart Life scene and set to switch on at sunset and off at midnight. UPDATE The spur has been running for over a month now and hasn’t missed a beat, no internet drop outs, no reconnection failures if I turn the internet off and it turns on and off perfectly with the settings on my Smart Life scene. Recommended.

Very good. Very cheap and it turned a horrible old water heater switch into a smart device with a reliable app where I can set on/off times and schedules. Used to have to manually go and turn on my water, this handy, reliable device changed all that.

Purchased 2 units, installed fine and worked for two months before BOTH died one day after the other. Customer support/after service is useless and required the faulty units be returned before replacements sent at my expense. This leaves me with cold room and holes in walls with unsightly wiring until they get their act together. VERY POOR PRODUCT EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Very happy with this WiFi switch, bought to control a bathroom towel rail. Easy to install and connected to home WiFi network easily. Managed to use an existing app to set up, so didn't have to download another app. One comment that may help others considering buying this is, the switch is quite deep, so I opted to use a 45mm back box to make it easier to install & to make it easier to accommodate the wiring.

Good product. Easy to configure
