Case-Mate Tough Cases for BlackBerry Q10 - Black

This product is very good, I have on two phones, iphone and Blackberry, if you drop your phone as much as I do these cases really protect them, Tough!!

I previously bought a CaseMate Tough case for an Android phone, and the make-up of this case is the same but for a different device. As with the other case, it fits the device perfectly; a soft, rubber inner sleeve, with a harder, plastic outer casing. One flaw I've seen in this - as in the other version, is that the rubber tends to develop a little "gap" at the bottom of the phone. On my last phone, this was just above where the USB charger went. On the Q10, it's just above the speaker. Other than that, the case is a good tough one, CaseMate has never disappointed me.

Fiddly to fit but once it's on it gives firm and comfortable cover. Good looking, robust and appears well made.

Durability: 8/10 Feel: 10/10 Look: 10/10 Outside shell is very tough, helps immensely by providing excellent support. I was worried that it may be too hard and lack the ability to absorb shocks, but the inner rubber skin is exactly for that purpose. The only thing is though that the inner rubber skin has worn off due to repetitive putting on/taking off. Look and feel are amazing, no complaints. It makes the phone chunky, exactly how I like it. It may not be nice though if you like the slim feel. As for the look, very rough and rugged looking. I love it. Overall a very good experience.

I've had this case for weeks now and so far I like it. I used to have the Otterbox Commuter and Defender cases but those lose shape pretty quickly, at least for the Q10. Pretty upsetting since on my Bold 9900, the Commuter never lost shape because of the way the plastic shell was made to enclose the silicone. So with this case, same idea as the Commuter, silicone inside to protect the device, plastic shell on the outside. But the outer shell actually has a soft touch finish but with a rough feel from the little embossed diamond patterns, adding style to the ruggedness of the case. The keyboard is completely accessible with the case, and as I had mentioned, the silicone has not lost shape. However, it does come with some caveats. The outer shell attracts oil from your hands and the diamond patterns make it hard to clean. Regular oils produced by the skin do not make the weird marks, but when I put on my carmex and accidentally picked up my BlackBerry with the same hand before wiping it off, it got this ugly discoloured look that took a while to was and wipe off the case. I guess just make sure not to do that. Haha Other caveats include the "lip" not being as high as the Otterbox series as to protect the front of the phone, the headset, charging and microUSB ports being unprotected from dust, the lack of a screen protector, and the lock and side buttons being easy to press. I have dropped my BlackBerry with the front facing the floor only once with this case and I didn't get any scratches. The lip is high, but I think I'm just used to the Otterbox. Similarly, I'm also used to the ports being completely covered by the Otterbox, and the Otterbox making the side keys sturdier and requiring more force from my digits. Also unlike the Otterbox, they don't give you a free screen protector with this. To that end, I just ordered one on Amazon, which came with 6 for 5.99 and turned out to be perfect. Haha So really, this case works out for me. People like it for its slimmer feel and I do too, yet still adding some heaviness and sturdiness to the Q10 to protect it from drops. Just make sure to buy a screen protector.

Calza perfettamente e non tende a sfilarsi nonostante non sia tra le meglio ancorate al telefono. Dopo varie cadute, non solo il cellulare è illeso ma lo è anche la custodia stessa, grazie all'esterno rigido. Bella davvero l'idea di custodia doppia, lato interno morbido in gel ed esterno rigido con rivestimento antiscivolo.

Fatta molto bene, assorbe qualsiasi urto non frontale in scioltezza. Un po' cicciotta.
