Favorite Coffee
One of my favorite to go coffees for use in my Jura machine. I tried this for the first time in Italy and ever since it’s been on my permanent rotation of coffees I buy. The quality and flavor are always on point!

Check the bitterness at the door and enjoy smooth, rich shots!
I fell in love with espresso in the cafes of Paris. Coming home, I knew I wanted to recreate that experience at home since the "commercial" espressos I could purchase all tasted burnt and overdone to me. I read up in forums about which coffee to buy and, following their suggestions to purchase locally roasted beans, I got samples from several local roasters. Unfortunately, their bitterness quotient was through the roof! Try as I might, I poured shot after shot down the drain. After more consideration, I turned to Amazon and started browsing coffees from Italy. This one came highly recommended both by reviewers here and on other coffee sites too. I decided to dive in and give it a try. Boy am I glad that I did! I finally got that smooth, medium flavored coffee with a creamy, luscious crema that we had been craving! It only took me a few tries to get the machine dialed in on these beans. I went back and tried those local beans again, but they did not come close. If you are looking for a smooth, rich blend with the right balance of crema and coffee, give these beans a try!

Best of the Espresso roasts
For me the best of the mass produced Italian espresso blends. I was walking around Rome with an Italian once and when she saw a cafe with this logo she said, this one is better than average. In Italy, all of the espresso is good, so if one is better than normal, it is incredible. I have found this to be very solid and consistent. It is just a touch less roasted than some other ones, like Lavazza, and so there is a little sweetness. But it still tastes like Italian coffee, not like the new wave stuff. I would certainly choose this one over Illy, which is more expensive.

Smoothness with taste
This is my coffee with lots of milk in the morning and straight and dark from an old-fashioned expresso coffee maker after my main meal. What I love is that my stomach has taken to it either way while my taste buds are having a field day.
