I bought this USB-C hub to simplify my workspace, and it has exceeded my expectations. It’s well-made, compact, and has a nice finish that looks good on my desk. I use it to connect my external SSD, a keyboard, and a mouse, and everything works flawlessly with quick data transfers and no connectivity issues.Just a heads-up: it doesn’t support an external monitor, but that was clear from the description. These Work great to expand your USD-C connections for all your Devices from Apple, HP etc.They connect Power, Data, Audio and Video Devices effortlessly.I use them to connect 4 USB-C Digital Audio Interfaces to My Mac Mini and Mac Studio Computers but they work great in an Office or Work Enviroment as well.I use lots of UGREEN Products. i have one of these attached to the back of my gaming desktop. great little hub. i have 4 nvme 2TB drives attached to it and they are humming away at about 1.3GB/s sustained. (limited to their external enclosures) i ran a disk speed check on all 4 of them at the same time and they were all about 1.2-1.4gb/s. they are all Teamgroup 7gb/s drives 2TB each.i buy UGreen products a lot. i love their quality and just the all around feel and reliability of them. i also have a 200W powerbank and a little usb-c charger from UGreen. awesome products. the OLED display with the animated faces is a nice touch. i had a USB-C cable with an oled display that only showed a happy face when charging.

I wanted to keep this, but it is returning since it will not support my external monitor. It would be nice if the description said no monitor support.

The USB C hub works very well with no issues. The build quality is about the same as any other generic USB C/A hub you can find (thin plate metal casing), but it's not like it will get dented or scratched easily. The USB C hub connects via a USB C cable that is part of the device, but the cable was a bit short in my opinion, so I'd recommend keeping the hub close to your I/O slots or get a USB C extension cable depending on your setup.I have many devices (20+) plugged into the hub via other USB ports and use it as a main hub for other USB hubs. I haven't noticed the hub getting warm like some other USB hubs I've used in the past, but it also sits next to a fan that runs 24/7, so I probably wouldn't notice if it got warm anyway.TLDR: works exactly how it should and does exactly what it should do, no issuesOverall, I'd say this USB C hub is decent quality and good for anyone who needs extra USB C slots on their devices.

Fantastic addition to my computer fast connection

One of the 4 ports was not functioning correctly. I reported it to Amazon & Amazon said to contact the manufacturer (U-Green). I then contacted UGreen and they actually told me after reviewing the invoice that I had received a defective item! (If they knew this, why wasn't I contacted and sent a replacement before I discovered the problem?). They then told me THEY COULD NOT SEND ME A REPLACEMENT. I am now awaiting a refund.What a bizarre transaction. What lousy customer service.Rating should be zero - but had to select a star and the lowest is "1"

I purchased this splitter hub to connect to my Macbook 16" laptop - M1 Pro. It will also work on Windows based computers with USB-C connectionsMy Mac uses Thunderbolt connections (USB-C compatible) which transfer data at 40 gbps but Thunderbolt hubs are expensive at around £130 to £300, depending on spec and manufacturer, so I opted for a slower data transmission speed with the Ugreen splitter, which transfers data at up to 10 gbps (depending on the specification of your PC/Laptop) which is plenty for my needs. In use, I can't really tell the difference in transfer speeds but I am talking about home use and not commercial or business usage where demands for speed and power may be more criticalThe Ugreen hub is lightweight, finished in matt silver-grey on an aluminium case, and has a short 24cms (just under 10") tethered cable with a USB-C plug to connect to my laptop.
