Can this be used as a shavers light above a bathroom sink? If so can yiu easily remove to charge and put back in its place?

The pack comes with an adhesive strip one side is magnetic so you can put it anywhere. The light then attaches to the magnetic strip it is easy to take off to recharge. My son bought this for me so when I open my wardrobe doors the light goes on.

can you have it in manual mode ie: switch it on and off when needed ?

You could but the switch is very small & if it was dark then you would struggle to find it. Best way is to have it on auto. I.e when someone walks past them it comes on when no one around it goes off. Advise not to put near doors as they will run down the battery quite quickly if people are walking past

How dark does it have to be for the light to light up?

the light is triggered by motion and can be switched to fully on, or to motion sensitive. I have mine in a cupboard so it is always dark, if its not dark you wouldn't need the light.

Last night the light turned on by itself but not in the sensor mode, it was switched to manual mode. Was it a ghost?

The light has 3 modes I think... On or off permanently, and sensor mode. So are you saying the ghost switched it from off to on?? :-)
