I live in a large condominium with very high, 16' ceilings. I have two ladders - a 16’ traditional extension ladder that is very difficult to store and use, and a folding A-Frame 4 Step Ladder Extension - which is heavy (about 40 pounds) and difficult to use. I was looking for a lighter-weight, easier to use and store alternative to the two ladders I currently have - and that would give me the height to address the high ceilings in my condo.I found this ladder - which weighs less than 15 pounds, and looked easy to store and use. The ladder arrived with my Amazon Prime in 2-days - as promised. It was well-packaged and "double-boxed" with the original ladder box (using foam protection on each end in a cardboard box), placed inside a "shipping box". Unpackaging was easy.The ladder was super easy to use. I didn't even have to read the instructions on how to use it; it was intuitive. Simply undo the Velcro-attached nylon strap and pull up on the ladder extensions. With each "pull", the ladder extends one section and locks into place. you pull out the number of sections required to achieve the heights of the ladder needed for each specific use. While the weight of the ladder was light - as which I was looking for in my selectin criteria - it was quite sturdy and supportive, and just as easy to restore back to its collapsible state with the pressing of buttons on each side of the rail for each section of the ladder. There are some very large rubber "feet" on the bottom of the ladder which provides a great, non-slip base.In addition to being light-weight, sturdy and easy to use, the ladder also met my other selection criteria - compact and easy to store. If these are the kind of things you are looking for, I'd highly recommend this ladder.
