If you are going to put 2 sliding doors together on one track, YOU MUST purchase this to connect the two separate door tracks! Works perfectly! I painted all the black hardware ( color that is included w door package) white! Used high grade white spray can paint! Painted up nicely! No one can tell hardware was black!!

Received this as part of a double door kit with no relevant instructions and no obvious signs indicating it’s intended use. Presumably it is intended to couple the rails of single door slides together, but the rails in the kit were hollow and each came with a different type of coupler, rendering this useless. As for the door kit this came with, the kit was great, the only issue is that it does not include a center door stop to keep doors from sliding when locked together. Instead it comes with four regular slide stops (one for each end of the single-door kits). This part doesn’t seem to be useful for this purpose however, so one of the regular slide stops were placed in the middle temporarily until a better solution can be developed.

Well, I am sure this is a great product, it was recommended when I purchased the two barn doors to connect the two tracks. It was not needed, the barn doors had already included the same piece. And this piece was too big, anyway.
