Lyssé Women's Denim Straight Leg

Bought the skinny pair and figured I'd give these a spin. SO glad I did! I've had inflammation and weight gain over the past few years and have really struggled to clothe my now slightly heavier self. I've basically lived in leggings and baggy tops, holding out hope to lose those stubborn extra pounds while hiding under lots of fabric. Being amply "blessed" in the backside I've always struggled to find jeans whose pockets don't look completely ridiculous on my butt. This company seems to not only have mastered fabric (hands down, EVERY piece is spectacular in this regard) but also pocket placement. These (and the skinny pair I got before them) are SO flattering I can finally forego the baggy tops and wear them like regular pants! Fit is more or less true to size, and denim styles seem to run a tiny bit larger in the waist than the ponte pants and leggings. I wear a L in lighter weight fabrics (so things aren't crazy tight & can pass for professional attire) and an M in their denim. After buying the first pair I immediately went out and got 3 more in various styles, and several of their tops as well. I absolutely adore their fabrics and the thought put into the design of each item. These are wardrobe investment staples at pretty reasonable prices for what you get. If you're on the fence, hop off and give them a try!

I'm petite and curvy - 5'4 140lbs. I usually wear a size 10 in jeans and a medium in leggings. I bought these pants in both medium and large. The waistband has a lot of compression, so although I could wear the medium, they were uncomfortabley tight around the middle for me. Large fits well and the length is good. Not too long for a short person! I see what people are saying about the back pockets being low, but I tend to wear longer tops that hide that area, so not a issue for me.

I’ve had lysse pants in the past and my experience is that they are extremely well made and comfortable. These had both qualities and the denim color was exactly what I wanted. They fit nicely and we’re comfortable. They just were a little more bland looking overall. It’s hard to explain. They would be ideal for someone looking for jeans for work or for someone who has trouble finding a good fit. I am 5’4, 140lbs and usually a size 6-8. Lysse is very flattering on the but and in the front. There is no weird wrinkle or seem. I think if they had been a little longer, they would have been more of what I was looking for. They were just below my ankles but since my legs are not long, and extra 1/4 inch would have worked. I would still recommend these but they didn’t work out for me. Also, this brand washed beautiful!

Lysse always provides the best material and the best fit. They are not inexpensive, but they feel great and wear well. It was wise to suggest a larger size.

I love Lysee, but they have no quality control. The length can hit my ankles, be 2" or 3" longer, or in the case of these jeans, be 6" too long! And the same size sometimes runs too large, too small, or can fit just right. I never know when I buy a pair what the fit will be. But having to cut 6" off a pair of $120 jeans is ridiculous! A lot more women are 5'4" than 5'9"! Need to be able to choose an inseam size.

These are very nice jeans but they were too baggy in the rear and legs and way too long. The fabric was very nice and a great weight. They're an expensive brand but worth it. I've found very inconsistent fit with the brand, however.

New favorite jeans! Comfortable, moves with you, and I don't have to worry about weird crouching, running, or sitting while wrangling two young boys. There is NO possibility of falling down or showing everyone your jockeys in the grocery store while wrestling yet another bag of marshmallows from the 5 year old. I'm a curvy petite with a short torso. Purchased a medium, 5'2.75" and about 135 (It's all muscle, I swear) and they fit great. Length is just down passed the ankles and the waist is right across my belly button.

These are my favourites!!!!! I highly recommend them !!! Comfortable and they suck in your tummy without being uncomfortable. However, watch out as a couple of times their sizing is completely wrong. I ask for a small , and receive one that is the size of extra small, but still with a label that says small !!!!!

These are without a doubt my mother's favourite pants. She loves the fit, the length, and the comfort of these pants. She has now owned 5 pairs of these pants, with no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

Very happy with this product. It's a shame you can't buy them in different lengths for shorter people but that won't put me off from ordering again. Thank you Lysse love your jeans.

I am not keen on this style. The back pockets are so low down it looks strange. The belly band is so tight it creates a muffin top.

Wonderful how it makes you look 2 sizes less .. but.. it had dog and human hairs ..and tiny feathers! here and there. Will wash in case of allergies.
