Although it's a full set I only needed to use one of these for a very specific purpose (truss rod nut removal), and it worked perfectly. I don't know if I'll ever use this again, but I am so glad to have it just in case. Money well spent!

Bought this set specifically to remove certain bolt that broke in the hood of our car that held the hood struts bracket in place and the extractor broke in the bolt while trying to twist the bolt out. Other than that the few other times I have used this kit has been successful but still had to buy a different kit amd drill bits to get thst bolt out and the extractor out. Does come in a nice small case and works for non hardened bolts very well

I needed to remove a 1/4" NPT thermal release valve on my pressure washer that had snapped off and had been installed with red loctite. At such a low price I was worried that these would be low quality metal and strip or break before the loctite came free. The pipe was really stuck in there, so eventually I ended up hammering the bit into the pipe and then using a big pair of vice grips for leverage. Once I got it to grab it worked like a champ and saved me a very expensive pressure washer replacement. The only thing I wish was different is that the head of the bit is square, maybe made to go on a classic tap & die handle. For breaking things lose it might be better to design it for easy use with an impact driver.

If I could afford to sue TOPEC to replace my engine I would. Total and complete trash. I should have suspected when the perfectly useless drill bits in the kit couldn't even drill metal to begin with. Or the fact that there is no tool provided in the kit to actually turn the bolt removers to remove the bolts. Then after buying new drill bits that could drill metal, and buying a new tool to hold the bolt remover bit, the bolt remover BROKE OFF IN THE BOLT!!! Now I have a flywheel bolt firmly lodged in my engine block, with their bolt remover bit broken off in it that is preventing the new drill bits from drilling it out (as in I now have no way to get the bolt out).

This is a nice set of Screw extractors there is 7 sizes from 1#-5/64", 2#-7/64", 3#-5/32", 4#-1/4", 5#-17/64", 6#-13/32", 1#-5/64" , and 2#-7/64". Working on mowers, and other pieces of equipment broken bolts are common. I had a bolt that had broken off in a aluminum engine block. This set of Screw extractors, a good 1/4" drill bit, and a good soaking with WD-40 made it easy to get the broken off bolt out.

J'avais besoin pour enlever un bouchon de tranmission sur mon auto... J'ai pas eu grand succès avec cette outils. Mais semble de très bonne qualité quand même. J'ai donne 4 étoiles due a mon expérience.

Les exctracteur je les seulement utuliser qu'une seule fois et ils m'ont rendu un fier service un outil tres pratique quand tu la a la porter de la main vaut l'achat
