THE GYM PEOPLE Womens Half Zip Pullover Fleece Stand Collar Crop Sweatshirt

Im a 5'9", 180lbs guy who got this in a size large. First off, not sure how it is for women but for men's I would recommend sizing up. The crop is fine for me since I use it for working out and ice skating and like that it stays out of the way, but it is tight in the forearms which is to be expected as it's a women's sweater. The quality is more than acceptable at the price, especially if you get it on sale. I did have to iron it a bit to get some stubborn wrinkles out but it's been fine since. The smell people have reported is totally there but only lasted about 5 wears. It is not luxurious feeling but definitely softer and nicer than the cheap fleece we see sometimes. I was impressed with the thickness of the fabric as well, I would call it mid weight/mid-light. I've washed it twice and both times I air dried it so I haven't had any shrinking issues. I got the beige color and yup, it's beige. The hardware is unbranded which is to be expected. All in all, I like this hoodie a lot. I've ordered an XL to see how it fits but for the 19 dollars I paid for it on sale, it is more stylish and comfortable than I was expecting. I really like this sweater. It's not too big or too small. I ordered a medium size, and I think it fits just right. I mean, it really depends on how you like your clothes to fit rather than whether it's true to size or not. The color of my sweater is off-white, and I really like it. It looks similar to the picture. The sweater is very comfortable. It feels super soft and keeps you warm. Regarding the smell, I believe new clothes tend to have a specific scent. This one smells just like any other new clothing item, which means you should probably wash it before wearing. I've already washed this sweater twice, and I completely forgot that I shouldn't put it in the dryer, and it didn't shrink at all. But I would recommend being careful, since I might have just been lucky. The quality of the sweater is good, and that's often hard to find when shopping for clothes online. I really care about the fabric quality, and this one doesn't make me feel itchy or uncomfortable. I love it! Depending on how you style this sweater, you can look really nice, so I definitely recommend it. I'm not being paid for this review, and I'm actually considering buying it in different colors. As I mentioned earlier, the size works well for me. I prefer clothes that aren't too loose or too tight. I'm somewhere in the middle, and I have a larger chest, so I hope this helps anyone reading the reviews.

This is almost as great as I imagined, and I’m quite pleased (with the exception I missed a price drop a few days later). I canvassed the reviews and knew there was no stretch but reviews seem to indicate to order your regular size for an oversized look or size down for a slimmer fit. I’m really glad I didn’t size down, primarily because there is zero stretch. I have maybe an inch of room where it hits my hips but I’m losing weight so that’s ok. I’m a size 12 and M/L top and purchased a L. I love the neutral color and gold zipper, which elevates the top from just a sweatshirt. It seems well made and it’s warm. The length works great on me as a 5-3 short waisted person. I only knocked off one star bc I ordered my regular size and it still wasn’t oversized. You may need to order up for that.

Cute and well made. I purchased the Extra Small, and tried it on over a tee shirt before I washed and dried it. It was sturdy fabric that got caught up on my tee shirt. It had a soft plush lining . I figured you should not have a cotton camisole or tee under it because the fabric is not stretchy but it is soft. This was not a solid off white but had a bit of a grey mottling pattern which were small and blended in the off white cream like colored fabric. The inner lining was soft white. The sleeve length was fine. I have normal length arms but I am petite with long legs and a shirt waist. The shoulders were a little roomy for my frame. The zipper is nice and the neck line stands up to my chin when fully zipped. My neck to collar bone distance is normal length. I washed it with like colors in cool water and tumble dried on medium heat. I tried it on without a tee just a regular bra and it fit so softly and snuggly. This one is a keeper and a fairly good fit.

The quality is nice however the off white one does run small. I can’t speak for the other colors though. I’m normally a medium and sized up to a large in this and it was still snug. The zipper looks good in the photos but it’s actually like a brownish yellow plastic color. It makes the sweatshirt looks cheap. Other than that the material of the sweatshirt is nice. It’s thick and feels soft.

I absolutely love this pullover! As a matter of fact, it's now a staple in my wardrobe. The fit is perfect—it's cropped just enough to be flattering without feeling too short. I'm 5'2", and it's hard to find things that are both flattering and cropped. LOL! The material is soft and cozy, but not overly heavy, making it ideal for layering or wearing on its own. The stand collar is a nice touch, and I really appreciate the thumb holes; they keep the sleeves in place and add a bit of extra warmth on cooler days. The pockets are deep and functional—great for holding my phone or keys while I’m on the go. The Army Green color is exactly as pictured—rich and versatile, and it pairs well with pretty much everything. I’ve worn it to my son's basketball game with a long down vest layered over it, running errands, and even for a casual day at work, and it always looks cute and feels comfortable. I have gotten so many compliments on it! Highly recommend this pullover if you want something stylish yet practical. Definitely worth the buy!

This 1/2 zip is super cute and cozy. Very soft (though I haven't washed it yet). The zipper is a different color than the pull (in that it is not metallic looking like the pull is) but it's not that noticeable. For the price that is a small thing - especially since it's not very noticeable. The sweatshirt is a great dupe for you-know-who. It's a little less fitted/tailored looking though. It's plush and soft. The stitching is good and the garment looks and feels like quality. I found the reviews with photos and sizing info helpful so I'm posting photos here to help others with sizing. I am not quite 5'2" and a 32DD (28 inch ribcage), 25" waist (I think), small frame. The size I am wearing is an XS. I am glad I didn't get a small because the XS is the perfect amount of roomy on me. Lots of room actually. The sleeves are perfect length as is the length from shoulder to bottom hem.

I originally purchased this as a last minute, post surgery top. I was just hoping for something warm and easy to wear. I was not expecting this to become one of my favorite tops! I am 5'6, 110#, 36DD and got the black in a size medium. When I tell you the quality of this top is superb, it easily revivals any brand names! It has this weight that makes it drape perfectly even tho the style of this should look boxy(it is anything but boxy!) The turtleneck. I could go on about the turtleneck for days! (If you are someone who doesnt like something around their neck, dont zip this up because it is substantial, in a very cozy way if you appreciate turtlenecks.) But for me, I have a neck injury and can't have my neck or shoulder exposed to any cold or drafts. The neck on this top is everything! It is thick, it stands up all day and doesnt slouch, its so soft and its fitted without feeling smothering. The kangaroo pocket is roomy without making you look heavy in the mid-area. It is more of a crop top style but still hits to the top of your hips. The sleeve length is on the longer side so it makes using the thumb holes extra comfortable. I know I could have easily sized down to my normal size small but the medium fits me perfectly so I can easily layer. If you are considering this top, please spoil yourself and get this! It will quickly become one your top fives! Im off to purchase every color! Its just that good!!!

The quality is good. Buy the size xl is way big for me. Iam a mango size 12. The return process is not easy and I am charged Singapore dollar 20 for door pick up. And the sweatshirt is 62sgd. I could have just gone to a store to pick this up. So people think hard before letting your money go.

Purchased the black one last year and loved it so had to get the grey! Slightly shorter than the black one though but still great quality. So warm, thick material, doesn’t lose its shape after washing.

I’m an avid Lululemon fan but their materials have thinned out over the years. I used to own one of the original Scuba hoodies over 10-15 years ago and the material was substantially thicker. This is nicer than the Lulu Scuba half zip sweatshirt that I am replacing. In fact I have one Gym People half zip hoodie and now three half zip stand up collar sweatshirts. They are nice and soft, and thick; and wash well. I hope Amazon continues to carry this brand and these particular sweatshirts. I am usually a size 2/4 in the Scuba Hoodies from Lulu; the size Small is perfect in the Gym People Hoodie. I am 5’4” tall and 115 lbs, slim frame and these sweatshirts hit me at just above the hips so it is not too cropped. Nor does it stick out in the stomach or back area at the bottom of the sweatshirt. I find the Lulu ones gape at the bottom of their sweatshirts. Thank you for my beautiful sweatshirts Gym People!!

It's just long enough to cover my stomach. It's so warm and comfortable that I have been wearing it whenever it's fresh out of the laundry again. I wore this on hikes, in restaurants, as an extra layer under a jacket, at the beach in the evening and so on. It's versatile!
