It makes me want to play all the time
So far I am amazed by this amp. The tones are suited for the bass, especially the fuzzy and bright tones. The clean tones are bright and this can get low and dirty too.I like the Bluetooth accessibility for practicing.Instead of headphones, I plugged the other end of the cable into a 400-watt two-way speaker (it also works on my PA and bass amp) and it's like I have several bass cabinets now. This headphone amp and that speaker with woofers are just endless fun. The presence and boom are just as good or better playing the bass on this simple setup than when my bass is plugged into a 100W Fender bass amp.The headphone jack I noticed is a little touchy on mine and with a little movement of the cable, it really needs to be plugged in well to give audio out of headphones.I'm extremely glad I got this. It's better than plugging a bass into a Spark amp. There are so many more tones available with the Flamma bass amp than Positive Grid made for bassists for the Spark app.Very satisfied with this purchase. Everyone who plays bass should own one of these!

Best addition to a Bass guitar
This is of such high quality that I sold my previous bass headphone amp. Virtually zero distortion when hitting very low bass notes. Now I have the flamma Guitar and Bass headphone amp. Seriously brilliant.

Delivery is iffy.
FLAMMA seems to have a regularly occurring issue delivering the product to the consumer. Originally ordered the guitar version as a gift to be delivered to a separate address. It was “lost in transit”. Eventually, I received a refund and ordered it again. My kid received and loved the item. Thought I’d give the bass version a go and ordered one for myself. It was, again, “lost in transit.” Cancelled, again, and am waiting on a refund. The product looks super cool, just be aware that FLAMMA seems to be having issues providing it to the consumer.

Compact and Functional
This is a very practical solution for anybody looking to practice their bass guitar without bothering anyone else; having the option of multiple effects and amp options right over headphones is great, and the drum loops are a great way to keep the practice productive. I plugged in noise cancelling headphones and found myself jamming out way harder than I thought I would be.The sound quality over the headphones is decent, and the effects do not sound too overly processed. I did find that that drum loops were a little louder than I liked but not a deal breaker. The biggest challenge I saw with this was when I connected it to my iPad via multimedia station - the resulting sound quality on recording was tinny and light and really lacked the low end that I was hearing over my headphones when playing direct into this unit. I would not recommend this unit if you are looking to use it as a preamp or effects processor upstream from your recording setup. If you are looking for a quick and portable solution to jam over headphones, this is a great product with a lot of features geared toward that end!

Great portable amp for guitar repair
I have been using this for testing the electronics of electric and bass guitars I repair. This has been perfect for testing. It has Bluetooth but I have found using in-ear-monitors work best for avoiding any complications or intermittent audio issues from bad solders.Sound quality is good and the built in amps sound great. I have not used the affects but so far have found this to be invaluable to DIY'ersGreat product with great battery life, sound quality, portability, and value. 0 issues with this product so far.

Great tool for practicing bass...especially in an apartment
I am primarily a guitarist, but do play bass occasionally. I have a decent Squier Jazz Bass and a Fender Rumble 40 amp. However, I also live in a 2nd-floor apartment, and I know that the bass rumble can be felt in the floor at even a low volume. Being a considerate neighbor, I therefore limit my bass practicing to "decent" hours of day, and only for short stretches. So this Flamma bass headphone amp is perfect for me. It is very similar to other "headphone amps", such as the Fender Mustang for guitar (which I previously owned). It comes loaded with some preset amp sounds (primarily based off of Ampeg bass amps) and a combination of simulated cabinets. There is also a five-way tone selector button, to go from darkest to flat to brightest. Fairly effective, if limited. There are also a few preset effects included, such as flanger, phaser, and fuzz (which I quite liked for Lemmy/Motörhead-style playing". And a great bonus is the included drum loops, which even the more expensive Fender Mustang did not include. This is a great way to work on your rhythm chops, rather than playing along to a boring metronome. There are several styles included, and even a few odd time signatures. These aren't groundbreaking beats, and on their own are a bit blan, but for practicing along to they are a nice touch. The unit itself feels pretty sturdy. It is coated in a sort of satin matte finish, which feels good to the touch. The 1/4" input jack swivels out, so it can be used with a variety of bass guitars. The above-mentioned controls for the sounds are on one side of the unit, and the power on/off/bluetooth slider, as well as the volume dial are on the other. I actually prefer this smaller volume dial on the Flamma to the larger volume knob on the face of the Fender Mustang, which I felt was too loose, and could easily be bumped and adjusted accidentally by rubbing up against it, resulting in extreme loud volumes. You do need to plug in headphones (1/8" plug), as these do not transmit Bluetooth, only receive. So, you can stream music or YouTube backing tracks to the device, but you cannot wear Bluetooth headphones and hear your playing. This is a great little device for bass players who don't want to disturb others while playing, and opens up the freedom to play whenever you want. Having such a simple little unit also frees you up from being tethered to an amp, which is nice. I do suspect that I'll be playing more bass now that I own the Flamma Bass Headphone amp.
