Review: Very comfortable for an uncomfortable recovery - This sling is overall a better fit than the one received after my husband’s shoulder surgery. The strap under the arm and the thinner pad on the neck really takes the pressure off the neck making the sling more comfortable during the day and for sleeping. The hand sports ball is really hard and there’s no way to exercise your hand with it being solid. It was easy to remove. There is a learning curve to putting it on and can be a bit of trouble to not get the straps twisted. Having the two abduction pads is really nice if the arm needs to be held at a higher angle. For some reason the excess end of the waist strap was sewn to the pillow so it could not be lengthened. I easily snipped the stitches to make the strap longer.

Pros: the design took some of the pressure off my neck, the waist strap was WAY more comfy than the hospital provided sling, and it was cooler than the sling I was sent home with. Cons: the material inside of the sling was a bit scratchy (I cut off the sleeve of a tshirt and wore it inside the sling) the waist strap was long and tended to get caught on things, a little "holder' like on a belt might help with that. All in all, this was a win at about 1/3 of the price of the one from the hospital. I can't wait to retire it forever at 12 weeks from surgery! Happy healing.

This sling is overall a better fit than the one received after my husband’s shoulder surgery. The strap under the arm and the thinner pad on the neck really takes the pressure off the neck making the sling more comfortable during the day and for sleeping. The hand sports ball is really hard and there’s no way to exercise your hand with it being solid. It was easy to remove. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A better immobilizer sling

I purchased this shoulder immobilizer because the one given to me by the hospital after surgery had only a single shoulder strap that would creep up and put pressure on my neck. I found myself constantly trying to move the strap away from my neck only to have it creep back up a few minutes later. The double strap configuration of this sling solves that issue and is much more comfortable.
