Very good quality and AMAZING value.
This thing is a great product at a great price. Everything including the dimensions is correct and the machining and surface finish are very nice. If you want to use soft shackles (which you should!), this has a nice big radius and will protect them. Even the packaging is top notch.

Generally good quality, could use little more bend radius.
The general quality seems good. My only complaint is that the bend radius inside the ring where the soft shackle goes could be a little larger. Dyneema ropes generally require 1.5 x their diameter for a bend radius to achieve full rated structural strength. The radius here looks to be less than that of a 3/4" shackle. It's not terrible, but it could be better, considering that this was advertised specifically for use with a soft shackle and the majority of the ones used for recovery are made of 1/2" diameter or larger Dyneema. Bottom line - I plan to keep it & use it with some thick chafing gear. It's nice to be able to get rid of the bow shackle & go straight to the lug that is in the receiver.

Haven’t had to use but feels solid and the value ratio is fantastic
As with much of my recovery gear, I hope not to have to use but it’s always good to have for insurance. This one still falls in the category of “insurance” and I can’t comment on actual usage. However, it does appear to be solid billet aluminum so I don’t anticipate failure with the hitch itself. It’s more likely to fail at the pin or receiver if I had to guess. Even if this was cast, there was clearly some sort of machining process done to finish it since the shackle hole is nice and smooth for those of you running soft shackles. Overall happy with the purchase since the price point seemed fair for what it is.

Fantastic AL shackle hitch receiver, why pay 4x as much for Yankum?
I use this with my VEVOR 1.25" Kinetic rope ( 1/4th the cost of Yankum, far stronger than the 7/8" they recommend for Jeeps) and it works great.
