Mehron Makeup CreamBlend Stick - LIGHT BUFF, Cream Foundation

I wore full red body paint to a comic con type event. Waited outside in line in the AZ heat and spent hours walking around the convention and this body paint did so well. Paired this with the red setting powder from Sunset Makeup and I was red ALL DAY! Coverage was medium and buildable I’d say. Easy application I just used a beauty blender. Sat on my skin beautifully and didn’t have that body paint texture. Some minor creasing in high sweat areas. Highly recommended!

Absolutely amazing color, application, and quality! Used this and mixed it with the same cream stick in white to do a beast boy cosplay. It turned out amazing! Here's a photo (with no filter of any kind in natural light) Highly recommend using it with the Mehron skin prep before and the mehron setting powder and spray after (PACK ON THAT SETTING POWDER and you'll be so happy you did). lasted all day and had no transfer, smudges, or cracks. Super easy to remove with makeup remover and did not stain.

UPDATE: my clown makeup lasted from 6am, all through work, then through partying in the evening till 10pm. phenomenal! to get rid of the cracking i really packed it heavy into those high flexing areas and i also used a white makeup stick from NYX to get in the creases by my nose and eyelids. use WAY more setting powder than you think you need, really press it in there. and lastly, get you a good setting spray too. i used the pink & blue bottle from NYX. I wanted to get into trad goth makeup and after failing miserably with the cheap white face paint from the Halloween section, I decided to get what all the goths recommended which was this paired with their setting powder. It arrived intact and I had no issues with packaging like some of the other individuals. It applied nice to my face and was easy to spread. I actually got an even application which I was stoked about because the face paint couldn't even get that far. It doesn't burn, stain or have any weird smell, but it can be a little tricky to use because its a cream base product so it never really dries fully I don't think. I used their setting powder but and primer but it still cracked pretty bad around my eyelids & mouth. I know during my research that other people has similar issues with the cracking. i only tried one time, so I'll try again with more primer, setting powder and maybe a setting spray like others have recommended. Overall its better than the face paint and actually looks nice. I'm hoping my clown makeup for Halloween can last 8 hours at work! I'll update if anything changes or to give application tips to prevent cracking if I find any.

I went to the Shrek Rave last night and the first pic is is after the rave, and the second pic is before the rave! It looks literally the same as before, and I was sweating and dancing so much! Application: The lighting is a but different in the photos, but you can really tell it didn’t smudge or drip away, but of course I had to bake and seal my makeup. The application was so easy, you just glide the stick on and then blend with either a brush or sponge. I found a brush was good for the base coat, and then a sponge was great for the contour and little details. I was surprised at how much product was still left over by the time I was done. A little goes a long way with this stuff, and this is green so I can only imagine a more pigmented color such as dark blue or a nice red would just glide over the skin. I did have to apply two coats but that’s because I didn’t put enough on the first time… I was feeling a little nervous haha. Regardless, it was super easy, took me like an hour to get ready to leave. Some other oil paints are a pain to even apply evenly, but this stuff is literally like magic. Seriously. A big fluffy blending brush is all you need to make yourself look airbrushed and fantastical. Clean up: I would say it’s very easy to wash off, and so far I haven’t had any issues with it staining and I use white face towels! My skin didn’t stain, and I was especially worried about SMEARING. I usually encounter a problem with smearing while cleaning off oil based paint, but this stuff came right off with some warm soapy water. However, I want to mention I am a SWEATER!! I literally sweat like I am damp from jumping in the pool with all my clothes on, and yet this paint still lasted me almost SIX FREAKING HOURS!!!! HOLY COW Y’ALL!! Side Note: I have extremely sensitive skin and I was worried this would irritate me, because some other popular brand name oil based paints usually bother me extremely, but Mehron does not bother me one bit. No itching, dry skin, burning eyes… no watery eye boogers, no acne flare up, nothing!! Mehron even offers a sensitive skin option but I don’t feel the need to opt for that since their original formula is already so gentle, yet long lasting and resistant. Overall: Amazing and excellent pick if you’re wanting an oil based body paint. Incredible application, looks brilliant and the color is fantastic, and the clean up was delightful. I can not wait to get more colors and do more fun looks. I am relatively new to cosplay makeup, but this is a product for beginners AND professionals! Anyone can use it and make it look good with just a little bit of know-how. Thank you Mehron for making such a valuable product!

Mehron paints never let me down! This color ("Blue") was perfect for my last minute Mystique costume. It's more ultramarine blue than in the pics; my phone camera tends to not pick up bright colors well. It's a great match for her color in "Days of Future Past". It's thick, it's blendable, and lasted pretty well despite me not setting it with powder. It doesn't fully dry down though, so I was very shiny lol. You should definitely set it with powder, I just didn't have time. There's no strong chemically smell, and you can't beat a stick for ease of application. Very pigmented and opaque, as long as you don't smear it around too much it's pretty full coverage, I only used one layer. It does absolutely transfer even if you sit it with powder. It DOES STAIN, however. I used a good makeup remover to get as much off as I could last night, then showered this morning and washed my face with a deep cleanser, and there's still some slight staining around my mouth and eyebrows. It is difficult to remove. Even with the makeup remover I had to scrub pretty hard because of how thick the paint is. If you have sensitive skin, you won't have a good time lol. Overall these sticks are worth the money, although I was a bit shocked that after a few years since I bought my last one, I came back to find the price of these paints had more than doubled. I bought a white one a few years ago and I believe it was around $7, and I paid $17 for this one. That being said, they work great and I'd absolutely recommend them for a good face paint.

I really like the product. Foundation goes on easily from stick, smooths nicely and evenly. Stays on all day. I find I must use makeup remover before showering as my face scrub/soap does not completely remove the foundation, showing how well it lasts and stays on. The stick moves up by turning the bottom circle. You cannot make the stick go back down (so don't make it go up too far to see the color). I must say, it would be nice to be able to make the stick go back down. The color chart is inaccurate for the colors. I ordered Light 4 expecting a light biege/brown tone. What I got is a light yellow tone, completely not my coloring. The Light 4 actually looks like Light Buff, shown on the color chart. Because the price is so good for a product that works so well I am willing to try another color.

This was perfect for my Elphaba costume. After applying, I spread it until the color was optimal. I applied the Mehron setting powder and it stayed in place all night. Excellent quality.

I'm overhauling my makeup routine completely because I wasn't getting the look I wanted anymore. I'm shocked that this makeup stick works so beautifully! I'll pay anything for the look I want and need for my mature complexion...and have. But that doesn't mean I have to spend a fortune. I'd gotten into the rabbit hole of if it's expensive it must be better and I've been using Le Mer which is insanely pricey. This foundation is the most natural finish of all I've researched in my quest for a new routine. For tips on how to apply makeup like this go to YouTube, it's worth it. Not difficult at all but it Is different than a liquid or cream I'm used to. I'd bought many of the Mehrons to try and compare at home and I found one that matches my cool tone skin to perfection. I'm always having to blend foundations in my hand then add blue to take the orange out of them then apply. Every time I'd have to do this. Now my makeup couldn't be simpler. I used the Estee Lauder Aqua primer first. I've had it on for 10 hours now and it's not faded or settled into any lines and no touch ups. I'm in love love with this and it's $140.00 cheaper..gotta love that. My skin is normal with dry spots here n there and thanks to my surgeon I'm not very wrinkled but I do have a few small lines between my brows and don't want botox poison. I used a compressed powder between the brows for extra security. But still, the foundation didn't look heavy at all.

Applied really well, a bit too oilly but I fixed that with setting powder. Has about the amount of a newly bought gluestick! Used it 4 my face chest and arms 4 Mina cosplay Someone @ the con I went to even asked what I used since she was really impressed!!

Dressed up as a half orc with this a lot. Putting down a primer, then your skin foundation and then this on top, absolutely perfect.

I bought this bodypaint for the first time, in a trad goth so I need something very pigmentated but not patchy, and looking at the reviews this one was pricey but good quality. The reviews were right. Its very easy to apply, the texture is smooth and very nice. It has no odor at all and, when you fix it, it stays in place (I used a Set-It-Up powder) without resulting sticky. Of course you can't expect a full no-tranfer look, if you rub it it doesn't came off but it will stain your fingers, but it still has one of the best results seen for me. The picture on the hand without doing a base of course, so you can see the wrinkles and the texture a lot, but doing a good base (nyx glue primer, trust me) its very smooth
