Great item dos what it said on the tin

It works fine and produces rashers cooked how you like them with no mess or spatter. Whilst it is shown with six rashers they are streaky bacon and smaller than back or collar bacon. Most back bacon is sold in packs of six and if the device was a bit bigger 6 back rashers would fit well.As it is one has to fiddle around positioning the rashers to get uniform cooking. Usually requires an adjustment at halfway stage. You can pour off fatty residue easily and it washes easily in the sink or dishwasher.

I discovered this after being very pleased with the same company's microwave griddle. This device is every bit as good - quick and convenient, saves on mess, easy to clean. The extra deep corrugations very effectively separate the bacon from the greasy liquids. I find that for thick cut bacon in a 900W microwave, one minute per slice works really well. I don't understand the comments about the lid - it's a splash cover not a snap shut lid and as such works very well. I highly recommend.

First off, it’s a great idea. Next is the actual execution, and that’s where it all goes a bit sideways for me. The lid isn’t clear plastic, so you can’t peek at the action. You have to just let it run the course and hope for the best. The lid is also really difficult to get a firm hold of. It’s a sort of slippery plastic, unlike the Systema one, which has an actual knob type handle. It sort of works, but it’s a bit hot and miss. I find the same bacon (I only eat Naked Unsmoked Bacon) will need different cooking times. I don’t understand that - but if I could see through the lid it would help me gauge better when to intervene. It does indeed clean up in the dishwasher and it does - more or less - cook your bacon. It’s not that great, but it will have to do I suppose.

smell of plastic when cooking bacon not hot when done

We really like this bacon cooker. It cooks 6 slices of bacon, nice and crispy, in about 4 mins. My daughter likes her bacon softer and we just decrease the time. The grease is trapped under the grooves and it is easy to wipe out with a paper towel.

Maravilla, rápido y limpio, normalmente tardaba de media 5 minutos en hacer bacon al microhonda con el rollo de la grasa en el plato, ahora en 3 minutos bacon perfecto, recomendado al 100%. En las instrucciones pone 5 minutos y yo lo tenía listo en 3 no os confieis y echarle un ojo para evitar echar a perder el maravilloso bacon por dios!
