These fine granules are easy to pick up and sprinkle with a smooth texture. As far as the saltiness goes, I feel like Mayi is comparable to Diamond, perhaps a bit saltier. It has a nice, bracing salinity—quite a clean flavor. We now use Diamond as our cooking salt and Mayi as our table salt. I never thought I’d have strong opinions about salt, but I love this stuff.
