Updated review: Jessica the store manager contacted me and sent out a new CD/Radio player to replace the broken player. The new player works fantastically! The sound is clear and vibrant, radio is easy to use and locate stations. The remote is simple to use and makes using the player so easy. I am very impressed with the companies customer service and easy with communication. Jessica also contacted me several weeks after the new player arrived to make sure all was going well. I updated my 1 star to 5 stars!!! Highly recommended product and company. Original review: The radio works. I like the size. I opened package after the return window closed. My mom passed away right after I bought the unit so I put off opening to deal with her death. I opened the CD player box and tried the unit 2 days ago, and the CD part doesn't work. It makes a high pitched noise for about 7 seconds then stops.

I bought this CD player for my Mom, who is 90 years old. She wants to listen to custom compilations that were burned for her, such as her favorite holiday songs, as well as regular music CDs. This CD player fits the bill. It is absolutely adorable to look at. Mom loves it. The CD player has great functionality, and the speakers have great sound. Unfortunately, there are two things I'm disappointed about. First, there's a charger cable included, but no charger"box" with the usb port that you plug into the wall. This is easily purchased on Amazon, which I did. Secondly, the symbols for the various functions are not easily visible. The symbols are clear indentations made into the orange buttons that are across the front of the player. It's very hard to see them unless you get very close. So identifying the function symbols is difficult, especially for my mother. The indentations need to be black on the orange buttons, so that the function symbols stand out. I solved this issue by sticking a piece of masking tape above the buttons and writing the function symbols in black. I bought this CD player in part because it said it was easy to operate, and so was good for kids and seniors. Overall, this CD player is a great value. It's adorable to look at. The functionality is great. The remote is also easy to operate. As I said already, the speakers have really good sound and you can go hi with the volume. There are several additional features, like Bluetooth, which my mother won't use, but is great for others. This CD player is very much worth the money.

The player worked beautifully with CDs and also as a Bluetooth speaker. The sound quality is remarkable for a tiny unit. My minor 'criticism' is that the lid opens from the bottom, making the installation of a CD more cumbersome that if it opened from the top.

CD player works great and love the see-through aspect. Has very good sound for being it's size.

This ROADOM desktop CD player exceeded my expectations. Bluetooth connects quickly and reliably, the sound quality is clear and rich, and the unit is lightweight and easy to move from room to room. It works great for CDs, Bluetooth streaming, and radio. When I opened the box, the remote was missing. I contacted ROADOM customer service and received an almost immediate response. They shipped a replacement right away, provided tracking within days, and even issued a $2.00 refund for the inconvenience. Great product backed by excellent customer service. I would absolutely recommend this CD player.

I use a Rain CD to help in falling asleep - A Day on Cape Cod (Summer Rain). Unfortunately, my existing CD Player gave up the ghost. I then purchased one of those Digital Nature sound generators. But the digital rain sound wasn't very realistic and sounded more like static. While perusing Amazon, I came across Roadom's Desktop CD Player. While I didn't hold out much hope that I would be satisfied with this player, the price was right and it even included a remote, so I took the leap. I was very pleasantly surprised how much clear/detailed sound this compact unit produced. I currently only use it for the CD option, but all the other Modes work very well also. The unit will auto-stop after the CD has completed, but if desired, you can use the Repeat option for continuous play. During the night I will get up to use the bathroom and when coming back to bed all I need to do is hit the power button on the remote (top left corner), and the unit plays for another hour of soothing rain helping me fall back asleep. My only minor gripe is the unit plays a quick 3-tone xylophone when starting up. I emailed Raodom, to see if I could silence this start-up tone. They got back to me right away and explained it was a default feature built into the original design and as such could not be overridden. But they did offer me a credit for this minor inconvenience. Very good customer service. I'm loving and dreaming with this unit.

Nice, portable CD player. The speakers work well and the power cord can go into a USB hub or use the included adapter. I don't like the display; it doesn't show the song number in addition to the play time and it's hard to find the track you want. Not sure if there's a stop button; I've just been hitting pause and turning it off. The upright design is space saving, but it makes it a bit awkward to insert the disc. There's been a bit of skipping and I can't tell if it's the disc, a slight bump to the player, or a fault in the player. Overall, a good value if you need to play CDs for yourself, nothing fancy.

Very compact and easy to play. You can hook any of your party box to play CD, MP3 and Blue Ray. Great support services and quick delivery. In fact i received approx. 3 days before supplier commitment.
