Digimon - Figure-Rise Standard Blackwargreymon - Model Kit

Hi there! I saw this model and thought it would look cool to build with weathered & rusted armor look, like BlackWargreymon had been through a lot of battles :) I have never seen Digimon, so apologize that my colors, etc. are not accurate :\ While building this, I did watch a few clips of BlackWargreymon and in my version, he lives on :)My overall rating for this model is 5 out of 5 stars. Please note that my rating is based on that I was lucky to get this when the price was lowered. If I had paid $30 for this, after completing I’d have wished price was a bit lower.It was a fun and relaxing model to build. On mine, the joints were solid, but I can tell the ankles might start to loosen.To note: The only stickers I used were the eye stickers. I used a gold chrome pen to recolor the gold areas.Hope this review & photos help a bit.==Articulation.Head.The head is connected to the top of the neck; articulation is from a ball joint at the base of the neck. There isn’t much left or right rotation or much tilting left, right or back. But, the neck has a forward lean of about 35 degrees, which allows BlackWargreymon to look down.–Shoulders to wrists.The pauldrons are connected to the deltiods with hinges, which allows the pauldrons to move separately and over horizontal.The shoulders can spin 360 degrees and also allows the arms arms can raise laterally a little over horizon.Bicep swivel allows for 360 degree rotation.The elbow bends a little better than 90 degrees.Wrists are molded to the forearm.–The back armor plates are on double-ball pegs and can spin 360 degrees, as well as having slight titling.–Hips to feet.The waist can swivel 360 degrees and has very little tilting in any direction.Splits.Lateral split is about 155 degrees.Front split is about 155 degrees.Knee bend is a teeny better than 90 degrees.Foot tilts up about 25 degreesDown about 10 degreesSide to side about 35 degrees (under the armor)==If you made it this far… thanks & hope this helped a bit!Take care :)

I build this drunk and still was able to get it put together. The only thing is the arms swivel kinda poorly, and the stickers aren't very good. Overall pretty sweet model

As with every figure-rise kit i've assembled, it was a very nice and simple build. looks very good. very accurate to the cartoon. looks sweet next to all of my other Wargreymon figures. very happy with the purchase. any digimon fan would love this kit

This was a great place to start. Laid it out to fiddle with in spare time yesterday, finished it last night as I was winding down, and I've already ordered the Angemon 😅Also excited to check out the Figure-Rise Amplified series.Four stars because the flimsy product box was delivered in an unpadded sleeve and came smashed and scuffed. It's too damaged to display, but the product was unharmed.The wings get a 4 star too, for lack of detail and flimsy feel. The stickers also seem cheap and mostly would've been better as colored plastic. Thankfully, there are only a handful. The horn's strips are already peeling off on their own. Might try to laminate or just replace with paint sometime down the line.Otherwise, it's excellent. Tight, but maneuverable joints, clean edges. The pieces all fit together perfectly, it has more heft than I expected, and it looks great fully assembledPlus, it's Classic Blackwargreymon... Enough said?I fell in love with it immediately, might've literally been the easiest purchase I've ever made.
