Great ointment with many applications
Makes for a happy rear end. Not only is it a moisture barrier, it helps with areas that are getting friction injuries. This can occur with the bike saddle on long rides. This takes care of the problem.

Best for skin excoriation
Ordered these for an elderly friend experiencing some excoriation. Overnight it heals. Probably perfect for baby diaper rash or ostomy or appliance leaks that damage skin. As an NP, I highly recommend! There IS momentary feeling of tingling after application. This is normal, don't wipe it off, the tingling is NOT burning or damaging, and abates in a minute or two!

Easy to apply first aid remedy
Calmoseptine is a great first aid product....antibacterial , anti fungal and is a pain reliever that is no sting. The small packets are convenient and portable in a first aid kit. I find them helpful for abrasions and small cuts or irritations from an insect bite.

Very protective on fragile skin.
Comoseptine Ointment foil packs. These are a very good product, which I have recommended many times. I am a former hospice nurse and recommended this for skin care for my patients. I did not know at that time that it was available on Amazon. When a relative needed it, I found it on Amazon at a much more reasonable price than the hospice paid for it. Wear gloves when you apply this to anyone, as it is very sticky and difficult to wash off of your skin. It will stay on the skin that you are trying to protect for a few days. There is no reason to apply it daily. It is difficult to apply a thin coating so just put a glob on and it will stay for a few days.
