Warm and comforting
We discovered this scent in a winery restroom (!) The scent is not flowery or sweet, but rather comforting and warm. The diffuser has lasted a long time

Apotheke is one of my favorite local brands, and the charcoal is an amazing scent. These reed diffusers easily last me 6 months! The initial refill bottle that I was sent scent seemed different, and not as 'charcoaly'--but Apotheke immediately sent me a new bottle!. Thank you~~~

It’s rancid. Smells like fish.
Barely smells at all and ruined the remaining bottle I had in the glass dispenser by diluting it. It smells like oil but not the strong fragrance at all. The first diffuser I got from a shop in NYC smelled good but this did not at all. I reached out to their customer service but they don’t respond.

Missing fresh reeds to put in the diffuser after I put in the refill.
My refill, Charcoal, came without the reeds that you put in the diffuser container. In the picture I ordered from it says I will get the refill and the reeds.

Obsessed
Obsessed with this company and fragrance. I have changed my entire home fragrance line up to charcoal, for year round. I purchased the reed diffusers for our guest bathroom and bedroom- Since then, I purchased the candle, room sprays and scent towers. The fragrance gives luxury!

Refill came without Reed sticks/Last refill had zero scent
Im still on the fence about this scent, one one hand I love it and at the same time I dislike it, it does seem to last longer then most diffusers. Refill has come two times now without sticks so I’m still using the originals. Edit- I had this on my subscribe and save and was on my fourth refill but after this month I’m cancelling the subscription and will try something else. This last one came and had zero scent. Usually it fills our bedroom and lasts for weeks this last refill you can’t smell it at all. So disappointing because it is not cheap and I have grown to love the uniqueness of the scent. Will have to try something else.

Terrible smell
Smells like smoked poo, I was appalled. Nothing even remotely that resembles charcoal sadly. Not a good value especially for the price!

Smells Like Burned Wood
If you like the smell of burned wood, you will love this. I don't like it at all.
