Shoes designed to fit your feet
I have large rectangles for feet. So normal athletic shoes always cramped my toes and over the past few years, this has caused ingrown toenails. I needed a new pair of shoes for walking around in summer weather and really enjoy this brand's barefoot style shoes so figured I'd give them a shot. After wearing them for a few days and about a dozen miles I have to say they are the most comfortable shoes I have worn and my toes don't feel squished. So if you have wide feet and are looking for function over style, these are great shoes. Will try to update in a few months to see if they last, but given the price, I'd buy them again if they give me at least 6 months of use.

Not a running shoe, but fine
I wouldn't run in these, well at least I'm not going to try anymore lol. Very poor cushioning and sole, st least for running. But they have become decent yard/whatever shoes. I am not sure if the foot is wider than your average shoe, probably not.. but the toe box is wider and more foot shaped than your regular shoe. Pretty comfortable, they are fine, I wouldn't buy again because they definitely aren't my style, I was just hoping to score some decent wide toe/zero drop running shoes. They are not that, but they are decent wide toe casual/semi athletic sneakers. I have other whitin casual shoes that are also decent. For the price, Whitin seems to be pretty good! But spend money for good running shoes...

Comfortable, quality shoes.
Color is great! Shoe is comfortable to.walk in. Zero drop shoes are helpful for back pain and foot pain. Will buy more pairs

Super Comfortable Casual Shoe
This is exactly what I wanted: it's a casual shoe like something from Skechers, but has the toe box of an Altra, and costs a fraction of either. I dig the look and I plan to use them for walking, work, and general casual use. I wanted something that I could potentially wear all day without discomfort and these seem perfect for that. The build quality is good, not excellent. It uses a faux suede material around the eyelets that looks a bit cheap. The toe box uses a formed knitted material which doesn't seem to be especially breathable (my "light test" showed very little light getting through) but it looks nice. There's a reflective strip with the logo on it, which I like. Compared to my expensive Altra running shoes and my Reebok cross-trainers, those shoes rely more on plasticky bits held on with glue. The overall quality of the Whitins is not far off the mark. The rubberized sole might be the first thing to wear out, as it's not especially thick. But compare that to Skechers which often go with a cheaper, less durable foam sole, and the Whitin soles look durable by comparison. If you plan to run in these, keep in mind that these are zero-drop shoes and while they have padding, it's probably not enough for people who run on their heels. It's best for fore/midfoot runners. It's really impressive that you can get something that looks nice and feels this good on your feet for such a low price. Fit: I'd go 1-1.5 sizes down from your usual. I wear 11.5-12 men's, and the 11 fit me best here, with a little room to spare.

Good inexpensive shoe
Received one day ago. Not bad, wide 4 foot as advertised but construction is very lightweight and thin, very little cushioning. There’s a seam that hits my foot and just the wrong spot. Everybody’s feet are different. These just didn’t work for me. They may for you. I’m returning them.

Best fitting shoes I have ever had
Whitin brand wide toe box shoes were my first ones of this type to try. They work perfectly for me. I do prefer these running shoes over the plain shoe as they have more cushion in the sole. I have worn extra wide shoes for most of my life but they didn't actually have enough room for my toes and the heels were too wide. This really became an issue when I developed post chemo neuropathy with very painful toes. These cause no pressure on the toes, the heels fit well and are very comfortable.

⚠️ Caution ⚠️
THESE SHOES CAN MESS UP YOUR FEET!! (read all the way for updates) I bought them for the wide toe, I knew nothing about zero drop. Wore them to work (1 day) where I'm on my feet for 8-9 hours. My heel started hurting toward the end of the day. I never wore them again after that day. It has been 6 days...my heel is still quite sore & my calf is sore from limping. I'm pretty pissed off. I've heard that other people have had problems with these shoes as well. *Update* now day 9 with heel pain. I've taken more ibuprofen in the last week than I have in the last 2 years. I lost time at work because I had to get off my foot for a bit. 🤬 **Update** May 3, 2024 - I have now been out of work for 2 days as I'm trying to heal my screwed up foot. I have never had foot problems in my life (I'm 47). These shoes really screwed up my feet. **Update** May 16, 2024. This is week 2 of being out of work. My heel is still very painful. Sending an email to my employer today to let them know I will be out indefinitely until my foot is better. Standing for 8.5 hours a day is not possible at this point. **Update** It took 10 months for the heal pain to go away. I was out of work the whole time. All from wearing these shoes for 8.5 hours. DON'T RISK MESSING UP YOUR FEET WITH THESE SHOES!
