Atheist this is doing batter job other additive. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It Works! *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 13 December 2024* I felt obligated to write a review for this product because I cannot believe that it actually worked! The particle filter light kept coming on with my BMW X6. I had tried taking it for a few long drives, as some people suggested, to unclog the DPF but to no avail. I then put in a bottle of Wynn’s DPF cleaner and topped up with £50 of fuel before going on a journey of around 60 miles on the motorway. After that trip, the light then disappeared and hasn’t come back on now in a few weeks of driving. I was worried that I would have to the replace the DPF, which I know can be an expensive job, so this product really is a God-send. Just to point out: when I put in a bottle of this product, I let the fuel in the car run right down before doing so. The fuel reserve light was basically on, and I literally only had around 10 miles of driving left in the tank. I think this is the best way to do it because the product then basically gets straight into the system, with minimal dilution. I cannot recommend this item highly enough. 5**Update*Ok, so this item did indeed get rid of the DPF light coming on but, after a few weeks, the light did come back on unfortunately. I then tried another couple of bottles of this item, but it did not resolve the issue this time. I then purchased the Veepeak OBD II Diagnostic Scan Tool, which plugs into your car. I also bought the BMW BimmerLink App. What these things enable you to do is basically clear the error codes on the DPF and then “force” a regen. You basically connect your phone to the OBD tool, and select DPF from the interface menu. You then need to request a DPF generation. After doing this, go back to the main interface and select Error Memory. When it loads up, then select Digital Diesel Electronics and clear all the error codes. Once you’ve done this, go back to main interface and select DPF and it should show up as YES under Regeneration Requested. Your car will basically not Regenerate itself unless you remove the error codes, so you must remove them to force a Regeneration. The interface may be a bit different, depending on which app you use, but they should all be pretty similar. You can purchase the Veepeak OBD II Diagnostic Scan Tool from Amazon. It’s a very handy device to have. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wynn's dpf miracle worker *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 1 June 2026* My Ford Kuga dpf warning light came on and I checked the Ford app which said the filter was at 86% full. I had approximately a quarter of a tank of diesel so I added a bottle of Wynn's dpf cleaner and filled up. I went on a drive of approximately 80 miles at varying speeds and checked the app which now showed around 78%. I continued driving normally until the tank was back to a quarter full. The app now gave a reading of 56%. I was extremely happy so far but decided to repeat the process. After a second bottle, my dpf reading on the app was down to 39%. I'm over the moon with the results. I haven't put any more Wynn's in since, but over the next few days it has now dropped to 37%. I would call this liquid miraculous. Very highly recommended. Just to update, I've continued driving for another ten days or so without adding any more Wynn's and the filter reading is now 28%. I don't know what this dpf cleaner has done but it has sorted out my never ending problem of the filter blocking. Absolutely amazing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cleared an engine fault light *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 11 April 2024* When the engine light came on in my BMW 320d, my first port of call was to buy a basic ODB2 reader and found that the source of the issue was possibly the NOX sensor. As I was not 100% sure, I generalised it to being a fault somewhere in the exhaust system and thought I would give this a go. In the meantime I booked in for a potential £750 repair bill. I put the DPF Cleaner into half a tank of the existing diesel and then topped up with premium diesel. I emptied the tank on moderate runs to no effect. I then topped up again with premium fuel from BP and did quite a intense journey up North for a holiday and up some steep hills (low speed, high revs).
