ULTRALOQ Latch 5 Built in WiFi Smart Lock with NFC, 5-in-1 Keyless Entry Door Lock with Bluetooth, Smart Handle with Keypad (Black)

I have one. It keeps dropping wifi and the Bluetooth doesn’t work went through every fix that Ultraloq suggested still with no joy. Only works properly when the batteries are removed and replaced but then stops working again a couple of days later. Ultraloq said they would replace it free of charge but then said they can’t post to the uk. Amazon have offered the refund. I wouldn’t buy another one from ultraloq that’s for sure.

Installed lock about a month ago. It was easy to install and looks great. Downloaded and installed U-tec software. Was not able to connect to my wifi at all. It was very hard to connect with the lock. Supples batteries went dead after month and door would not lock. Reolacing batteries solved problem. Newer version of software fixed connextivity problems and allowed firmware update. Lock works good. I am happy with the locks. (I have two).

I'm a handy person but this was a little chore to install. Has improved quality of life a lot not having to take keys with me. Auto locking is a great feature. So much better than a smart deadbolt: unlocks instantly (rather than having to electronically turn a bolt) because it just clicks some internal mechanism so that the handle responds to turning, meaning less likely to jam. Well worth the price.

Excellent product. Great support. Purchased more a half dozen of the NFC Latch locksets here on Amazon over the last few months. They have worked great. I use the phone app. I tried the Windows app once and it's not ready for prime time so my suggestion is to stay away from it. Back on subject. I had an issue with the Bluetooth with one unit and I called technical support. Support was fantastic. We troubleshot the issue and they sent a replacement unit via RMA. No hassle. No fuss. And they are in California so there is minimal shipping delay. The lock is easy to program and use once you get the app logic down. The phone app is very good. Anybody can make and sell you something. But you don't really know how good a company truly is until you have a problem. So I discovered that U-Tec stands behind their product. They really came through.

This is a well built solid lock, that is easy to set up and use. Unfortunately the electronics on mine stopped working after 21 months. I contacted U-Tec only to find out that the warranty on the electronics' expires after 18 months. After several emails back and forth U-Tec agreed to replace my lock at no cost. They delivered the new one in a matter of days, and replacement was very east. The new lock works great. Thanks U-Tec, I appreciate a company that stands behind their products.
