The Performance: I bought this 4-inch flexible hose to connect my planer to my dust collection bag, and it has been the perfect choice. It is lightweight and incredibly flexible, which makes it easy to route around the outfeed and other shop obstacles without any struggle.​Installation & Seal:​Custom Fit: One of the best things about this hose is how easy it is to cut to the exact size I need. I was able to customize the length for my specific shop layout in just a few minutes.​Airtight Connection: The included clamps are very easy to use and provide a tight, consistent seal. I haven't noticed any suction loss or "whistling" at the connection points.​Durability: Despite being lightweight, the material feels sturdy and hasn't collapsed or punctured, even with the high volume of chips my planer puts out.​Final Verdict: 5 Stars. If you need a versatile, high-quality hose that is easy to work with and provides a great seal, this is a solid investment for any dust collection system.

The hose is great - very strong and had no issues fitting over my connectors. Just the right amount of flex, but not overly soft and squishy to the point of collapsing.The real problem is the hose clamps - they are terrible. I had to use pliers just to turn mine and ended up with one full broken and the others took an act of god to get tight. I received another item that came with hose clamps and theirs worked great, so I know they can be good.So, buy this for the hose, but don't be surprised if you have to get your own clamps.

This is fine as part of a dust collection system complete with hose fasteners and delivered at very reasonable price to doorstep in a day or two. Work great connecting dust collector to dust ports of a jointer, a band saw, and a disc sander. Will get more when I set up a manifold to the dust collector.

Worked great for a dust collection system in my shop. Didn’t love the finger tightening on the clamps, so I swapped them out. For the price, the product is working great. Cut most of it down in smaller pieces. Anything for 12-60 inches long.

Had this for about 10 months now, use it in my garage/wood shop home owner style. It works good, clear is nice to see obstructions but the metal reinforcement in the hose will kink and bend, I can see it won’t last as I have stepped on it a lot,… good air flow through it even kinked, good starter hose, looking for polyurethane enstead of PVC for replacement. No holes in this hose, it’s pretty tough.

This is the right type of heavy duty dust collection hose needed for power tools such as a planer where the wood chips come out at high velocity and high volume. I had a lighter gauge hose before that was continuously damaged by the velocity of chips coming out of the planer. I had to regularly patch that hose because of holes made by wood chips.2 nice stainless steel hose clamps come with the hose.The only negative point has to do with the packaging for shipping. The hose is tightly folded in half in the packaging which deformed the hose somewhat. Having any kinks in the hose puts protrusions inside the hose that make it more vulnerable to damage by the chips coming out of the planer. I deducted 1 star because of the damage caused to the hose by the tight folding. I ended up cutting the hose in half at that point and I may use a coupler to eliminate the irregularity.

I love this hose. I bought it for my CNC in the garage. I designed and 3D printed transitions and adapters to connect to the vacuum.

Works well, fits great.
