Fairly heavy spoon. Angle of the spoon works really well for my husband who has Parkinson’s, but doesn’t have tremors. Angle is so that the person doesn’t have to turn the spoon & wrist to get food into their mouth. And it’s small enough to fit easily into their mouth.

My mother has lewey body dementia and these spoons have been great for her. She can feed herself and combined with the weighted bowls I also gave 5 stars, it cuts down on the mess.

Mom eats oatmeal every morning. She had been using a traditional spoon, and gripped it sideways, which often resulted in spills. This spoon has afforded her more stability and is much easier for her to get food to her mouth. No Parkinson's, just some neuropathy and Alzheimer's related disorientation.

Handle and ergonomics are great, but the spoon is shallow and fluids shake out, which doesn't work for me.

These are well made utensils. They’re easy to use but we found them too heavy for my elderly parent. She likes the concept but needed a lighter weight spoon.

It works great for cereal, but the bowl size is too small for soup. I would say just add a spoon with a larger bowl to the line but keep this one in the line as well. BTW, this is for Amazon. Why is light weight a measurable attribute when extra weight is the reason why these work?

These helped my dad tremendously! Not having to make the effort to turn his hand meant more food making it to his mouth. Nicely weighted too.

Very good spoons for people with certain disabilities. They are a little larger than a tea spoon, but still a good size to eat not only ice cream. They are sturdy & good quality.
