Dremel 2222 Flex Shaft Tool Holder, Flexible Shaft Tool Stand with 300-1070 mm Adjustable Height for Holding Flexible Shaft

This is part for the Dremel 225 that is not included in the box and you have to buy seperately. The 225 is a great flexi tool for the Dremel, but if you are using it on a workbench you NEED one of these, else the Dremel tool is just a nuisance and gets in the way. Single use tool and should be part of the 225 pack. Found the 220 on offer and this does the same job as the 2222 plus its a Drill Pillar Stand and it also acts as a holder which you can twist and fix through 90 degrees (vertical to horizontal). Much BETTER solution but you need to get it on an offer else its expensive. Returned my 2222 and bought the 220

It is not only dangerous to use the Flex-Shaft 225 drive without this, but also very foolish, it is 100% necessary to operate the Flex-Shaft in conjunction with this holder. In consists of a plastic base/clamp for attaching to a bench or table, into which you put the 3 tubes and into the top tube is the 'hanger' for your Dremel itself, along with the Flex-Shaft attached. The plastic base also has some holes in it so you can store some of your Dremel 'bits' should you wish. You can then work safely with the Flexi-Shaft, and I have used this with both my Dremel 8220 and 8260 and it works a treat. Conclusion : A good piece of kit, but my only concern is how strong the plastic base is, I would have been far happier if it had been made of metal, both in terns of strength and longevity and for that reason I have deducted one star, and given this 4 stars.

Delivered in good time . Owned a dremel for 9 years s suspended it using a chain bur the proper equipment works better as I can alter the height I work at and where I use it in my workspace.

Bought for modelling, as frequently using the flex shaft, keeps the Dremel tool body suspended out of the way and has a nifty holder for the flex drive handle when not is use. Clever storage for frequently used tools also in the clamp base, as I expect from Dremel a quality add on.

When using the dremel flexible shift it must be kept as straight as possible and this holder gives this support needed to achieve this during use.

If you use the extension drill attachment tia is fantastic.

Der Dremel-Werkzeugständer kommt in seine Bestandteile zerlegt ins Haus (Foto). Die Verarbeitung der Kunststoffteile entspricht der Qualität der Werkzeuge, die Metallteile sind stabil, gratfrei und verwindungsarm. Der Kopf des Halters (Foto) wird in eines der drei Standrohre eingedrückt, kann mit etwas Kraft auch wieder entfernt werden. Er beherbergt eine stabile Metallstange die drehbar im Kunststoff eingebracht ist. Es gibt vier Kerben die als Kabeldurchführung gedacht sind. Das Ende der Haltestange ist zum Haken geformt und in einen Gummistopfen gesteckt (Foto), der ein Abrutschen des Angehängten Gerätes erschwert. Die Zwinge zur Tischbefestigung (Foto) ist stabil zugfest und verwindungsarm, kann aber ggf. an der Tischkante mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben zusätzlich befestigt werden. Die feine Höhenverstellung wird mit einer Klemme an der Tischzwinge vorgenommen (Foto), die grobe Höheneinstellung findet durch die Menge der eingesteckten Metallstangen statt. Gerade für das Arbeiten mit der Welle ist dieser Halter eine grandiose Erleichterung. Stabil und gut durchdacht. Ich bin begeistert

Box was sealed, and all parts were there however the small round open toolholder, but on one of the legs it was broken off and found in the bottom of the box. Not a big deal, just annoying and not worth returning it for.
