Avlon KeraCare Styling Wax Stick, Style 3,2.6 oz,75 g (Pack of 1)

This product was recommended by my hair dresser to tame any flyaway hair and it does just that. Never used a stick before and have struggled with the gels in the past as they are messy to apply, don’t hold well, leaves a residue or flake and leave hair not looking clean. Nine of those issues with this. I do find the push up will go down during application, someone mentioned having a screw bottom instead! No issues with the scent as you only smell it when you sniff it and not in application.

I love this KeraCare Styling Wax Stick. It’s an effective, multi-purpose styling tool, particularly for those with textured or thick hair. Its smooth application, long-lasting results, and ability to create sleek styles makes it a necessity in my hair accessories bag.

The listing says this wax stick is unscented, but it smells very strongly of generic men’s deodorant, like it’s some “ultra sport extreme” stuff. Not a fan of that at all. Apart from that, it’s good: solid control over flyaways and it has a nice sheen without being high-gloss.

Works very well to hold flyaways in place all day long. It does, as others have mentioned, smell like men's aftershave, though this is a minor issue and you cannot smell it unless you smell the actual wax stick itself.

I like it's fragrance and it light to the touch it's actually better than my hair gel. I use it on my relaxed hair to taper and keep short back and sides straight down. I use it on my wig to give definition to the pixie cut and to sharpen it's fringe. I also use it on my daughter's wavy hair when she puts it in a pony tail to keep it looking sharp and neat. Thank you to my hairdresser who uses it all the time on my hair and who recommended it to me.

My frontal was so fine when I use the wax but it was so oily

It works really well with 4C hair, it is not flaky and does not leave any residue. If you notice a bit of it you can easily brush through it to remove it. The only thing I do not like is the smell. It really smells like a man's body wash (Irish Spring). It is also a bit pricy for something so small. Other than that, I like how it helps blend my hair with the extensions, especially when having a leave out.
